Thanks Patrick.....

I guess it's up to everyone to make up their own minds about who they send their money to. Regarding the player in question here(not the only one robbed), there was NO software bug, and no attempt to circumvent any rules. Maybe the others did-that's irrelevant in this case.

This was a pure and simple decision by Mickey to say "Tough shit....I'm not paying the bonus".

Supporting a decision like that sets one hell of a shitty precedent.

You said: "This book is in the Stockade at one of the most respected watchdog sites in the world and that's where they belong"

I'm not defending Mickey's action here, period.

I think it's funny that you're posting that MW is "one of the most respected watchdog sites in the world..."

I Ask: Just how many respected watchdog sites are there in the world, anyways?

Tin - your welcome. As far as "supporting" them don't think that's the case. We astericked () them on the book page to make people aware of what happenned. All the threads about the incident will always be one search button away. I also have always sided with the players on this the whole time and continue to. The only "support" I am giving them is not classifying them as a place where I think a player will get stiffed. I think the shop is safe even if this should have been handled better.

Anyway I enjoyed the exchange of opinions on this. Peep said once he thought he did well on a case because he managed to piss off both sides on an issue, LOL. Sort of what I did here. By saying CRIS was wrong I made a lot of the book people angry, by saying I think the shop is still a safe shop I have irritated a lot of the players. LOL. Anyway I understand the frustration so I don't take it personal when people let their feelings be known. I really wish somehow I had a better answer for you. Talk to you later.

It's not the viability of CRIS as an ongoing concern. As long as they create the lines they will be around.

It's the arrogance to change the rules mid-stream, IOW willfully breaking the contract with the bettor, that is of my utmost concern.

Joey, I must confess that was not my line to begin with. Actually none of my post was my own work. I "borrowed" all of it. I think you can guess who it might be from.

I agree with cecil and Sodium. Until CRIS pays the money they owe they will be on my STAY AWAY list, and I will never recommend them to any of my friends.

Trying to figure out what has changed since this post...

I appreciate the heads up on this. I will check into this a little further and then I will finish getting out this week if true. I was looking for a reason anyway to lighten up some more off-shore anyway.

I see what Pancho is saying but I find stuff like this reveals a lot about a books "character". Yeah it's only comps this time but may be something bigger next time. A leopard doesn't change his spots.

I kick myself everyday for not getting my friends out of NAB in time when I saw what a dickhead Bill was on the forum. So yeah I pay attention to things like this a GREAT deal nowadays. These books that do not honor their word will get no play from me, winning or not.

Most are smarter than me and will continue on if they are showing a profit but I do lots of stupid things based on general principals. Makes shaving a little easier every morning looking at this ugly mug in the mirror........

Pickles - your point is..........? I don't play at CRIS now. I said that already, LOL. Are you guys reading this? LOL. However this is a financially solid book. If and when new players ask me is CRIS solid than yes they are a solid book in my view. Not going to risk their bankroll lying to them. I'd much rather send them to CRIS than some place like Wagers Paradise or Prime Time Sports that everyone loved for their bonuses. Bottom line is there is a differnce between me as a poster and me as someone speaking from this position. I may not like McDonalds but if someone asks me can they get a hamburger there I'd have to say yes. I don't blame you guys for not liking CRIS, and certainly not trying to change your mind. You guys with a lot of experience are able to make your own informed decisions. But it would be out and out fraud like for me to suggest someone's money isn't safe there. BTW I said a lot worse things than that quote Pickles.....

To ignor bet2Gamble's observations with regards to CRIS would be grossly naive...IMO

PM, you are a very pragmatic man. Hope people listen. And GL with your new job

Hey Posters,
If all books overseas squash ALL bonus offers from now on would you still play with them??? Go to your local guy and see what kind of bonus he gives you!! Your bonus is being able to bet games at midnight, parlaying anything and everything, etc. don't know bout you but I can't find a a bookie at midnight! As long as an offshore outfit Pays great they ae good in my eyes the hell with bonuses!!

PATRICK..........just like i wrote next door....you can win the world and CRIS will pay you..

IMO..if a player refuses to ever play at CRIS because of Mickey not paying the bonus, that is perfectly acceptable...Mickey made that bed with his decision, and obviously hes content to sleep in it...
