had some xmas gifts sent via fedex to my parents address (where i was visiting for holidays)..

Well fedex devilvered it to home depot instead and listen to this, i had to pick it up b/c fedex still didnt pick it up and redeliver to my parents address in spite of me calling them and letting them know about this..

Well i just called fedex and wanted some sort of credit b/c of me having to drive to home depot and get it 2 days after it was scheduled to be delivered..

Well fedex manager tells me its not their policy to issue a credit to me, and that i would have to deal with the company who shipped it even though it was fedex's fault.

NEVER USE FEDEX if you can help it..pass this on...what a joke!

I had something similar happen to me. I moved to another state and my realtor sold my house in my old state so I had to have a signed paper delivered over night. I went to FEDEX because of their slogan "when it absolutely, positively has to be there over night".

Guess what? It wasn't delivered the next day. So I asked for my delivery to be free but they said I would be charged the 2-day rate since it was delivered the 2nd day. In other words, there is no incentive for some worker grunt to get it to the destination over night because it they were still getting their money.

They stopped advertising that slogan shortly after that. I'm guessing because it was no longer accurate.
