pats -3 (feature game - reg.play)

well, i picked denver to beat indy at home in the reg. season, then i picked indy to beat denver in the playoffs, but i also picked kc to beat indy last week. so, in last three games where indy was involved i was 2-1, including a +258 moneyline winner. that loss with kc stoped a 8-0 run by ptw since week 16. this week i will go against indy again. i do aknowledge that they have a very good young team, but i just like the best defensive team in this matchup.and the history is on pats side here. while payton and colts had a history of playing well against denver and kc, that can not be said this time, against the pats. since payton joined the colts, they are 2-7 su and 1-7-1 ats against new england. and actually, they were favored in last 6 hth games against the pats. they are also 0-4 su and 0-3-1 at new england in his era, while being outscored 63:128 in the process.and most recently, they are 0-3 su and 0-6-1 ats in this seres, as well as 1-4 su and 0-5 ats with belichick coaching the pats. (well, probably some credit has to go to n.e. qb's coach hufnagel who was with colts in 2001).this year payton had the second worst passing % of the season against new england, at 60.4%. as for brady, in his era, new england is 3-0 su/ats against indy (average score 40:21½, with new england scoring at least 38 pts in all three games). this is indy's third road game in last 4 and new englands 3rd straight home game, as well as 5th home game in last 6. and they also had a bye week in between these home games. in last 10 years, only three teams without the bye week in the playoffs went to the super bowl. indy didnt have a bye, ne did.new england beats there opponents with defense and special units at home. they have 6 turnovers and 21 take aways at home this season and they are 10-0 su and 9-0-1 ats when winning the turnover battle. the colts have the edge in the passing game, but new england proved many times that they can win even when outpassed. they are 8-0 su/ats this season when there opponents have more pasing yards this season. they allowed 9 ppg in last 8 home games while indy allowed just under 24 ppg in there last 8 on the road. indy was very good in revenge mode this season, but they only won once in a road revenge game, against the pathetic miami squad. and i dont know if we can talk about revenge here, when a team lose three straight against an opponent. and new england is a taugh place to get your revenge.if you wanna beat the pats, you better beat them at your place. miami and tennessee failed to beat them at home, and they couldnt beat them on the road either.and its gonna be cold comes weekend. this is a very taugh place to play late in the season. new england is 11-3 su (12-1-1 ats) at home in december lately, as well as 6-0 su and 4-1-1 ats in january home games since 1994.

new england is goind to SB and ptw's nfl record goes to 9-1 since week 16. mr.joe public learnt it hard way once again. you can have the best offense on earth but a good defense will stil dominate and bring home the cash. congrats to all of you who cashed with new england patriots.

for my free trial ending on tuesday, check my thread in the site promotions forum. thanks and good luck everyone, ptw.
