I haven't decided if I'm going to rent a car or not. If I do, I'd like to get back over to Atchafalaya. On our previous trips, we've gone to Herbsaint, Brennan's (brunch), Emeril's, Tommy's Cuisine, and Ruby Slipper (breakfast). There's at least one or two that I've forgotten. Any suggestions of your favorites?

Atchafalaya of course.
Used to be Galatoires before my wife’s 40th last year. Legit sent back 4 plates of their special of the day..some kind of fish. It was terrible.
Brennan’s is decent still. Better now I’m with their spinoff happy hour joint.

And Commanders Palace would be my next pick...if open. They weren’t open a month ago when we rolled through.

Happy hour? Go to superior seafood.

Dont think commanders is open yet. I always do well at Galatoires, sorry to hear of a bad experience. I heard Q Paul's closed permanently thanks to the Chinese virus. Big fan of Lukes. Happy hour every day until 6. Oysters for under a buck. A John Besh restaurant.

Kpauls is permanently closed. GWFINS is an awesome seafood restaurant. Menu changes everyday based on the catch of the day. It is run by former Ruth's Chris chef and manager.

I've been to the place once, and it bums me out that an historic legend like K Pauls closes it's doors

A COVID-19 casualty the cellar dwellers will never talk about

I hope somebody reopens it when circumstances improve

Tropical Isle has the best alcoholic beverage I’ve ever had called the hand grenade.
Several locations on Bourbon st .

Commanders palace is my fav place but it’s closed .

Dragos is another great place . World famous chargrilled oysters .

They have 2 locations , one of them in the Hilton right next to harrahs .

Got a place on magazine st called Juan’s Flying Burrito for some of the best Mexican food ever .

And voted the best fried chicken in America at Willie Maes Scotch House .

Really not a great time to come eat honestly . Lots of places closed , covid , and oysters and crawfish out of season
