This may be the single dumbest comment I've ever read on this forum.

Throwing a half of a football game for your team to purposefully be losing at HT won't impact your draft stock? Dude, it's a federal offense. No team is going to draft you knowing full well you played shitty to make some money gambling.

Are you actually serious?

You mean you wouldn't move a guy up the draft board who decided it would be a good idea to risk millions in NFL salary, and the possibility of time in prison to make 5 grand shaving points?

So he devalues himself and the opportunity to make tens of millions of dollars (by potentially being drafted lower) by throwing a half? In return, he gets half of $5k. Only Jameis Winston would be that stupid. Anybody else and I wouldn't believe it.
A lot of soon to be multi-millionaire college football players have proven their short-sightedness. They have no concept of the value of their future worth if they just stay clean.

I think there's a bigger story. That Louisville line was crazily low from the start. Looked like a trap to me, then the back-door favorite cover.

Just put him in jail with 1 meal a day until this gets sorted out. He may not be guilty of everything but he is of at least something. The bill for his stay goes to his momma and baby daddy. If they can't pay. pigeon position for a few hours followed by a little Bastinado. Also his parents must pay for his speech therapist. They will be closely monitored as the tallahassee folks will try to buy him out of it.

Game fixing
Stealing crab legs
fuck her in the pussy which I don't think means shit. Just poor judgement considering his history and status. No punishment should have been rendered but does say something about his judgement
50/50 rape of a girl that is no longer accepted by the people
Unable to put a sentence together
Suspended for a game yet dumb enough to still dress for it

The guy just has poor judgement hence why coach has to tell him immediately after notre dame to not go crazy. Bottom line, he is uncontrollable now. Imagine him with a couple million in the bank.

Stuff is so predictable.

This is the same idiot who said "Tajh Boyd owes over $80,000 in unpaid gambling debts" last year.

He has zero credibility.

And the first thing that crosses our minds is situation that concerned former Clemson QB Tajh Boyd. IBN learned from sources back then that Boyd owed over $80,000 in unpaid gambling debts. Of course, Boyd and Clemson denied the story, trying to prove that the QB was clean off the field. Only trouble was when NFL teams investigated the claims they found some links to gambling within his inner circle of friends and it raised such a red flag that most NFL teams wanted nothing to do with him.. Quote from NFL source: "Proof of any gambling by Tajh was never uncovered , but we did uncover several shady characters in his inner circle that had ties to illegal gambling". How did Boyd's situation workout? Boyd now plays with the Boston Brawlers in the Fall Experimental Football League. Will the NFL overlook this with Winston's status as a Heisman Trophy winner and a BCS champion? Or will Jameis get the Tajh Boyd treatment? Remember this could be all just a "Coincidence" *Update* As of 9:45 AM est.. IBN attempted to reach out to Chris Rabb via phone and someone did answer the cell phone, we asked if he had any comment on "alleged" gambling rumors that involved him and his former high school teammate Jameis Winston, his answer was brief "Fuck boy how did you get my number?.. mind your business boy" that's when the phone hung up.

Doesn’t Winston turn out to be the most ignorant and pathetic we have ever seen? His Coach as well. Backing a kid at first is one thing….. but this guy looks like a total moron by now.

P.S. Any grown man who answers to the name "Jimbo" should be living off the grid picking his nuts full time!

Post of the year! Amen.

I went back and looked at the play by play.....

Louisville led 21-0 with 2:03 left in the first half.

Winston up until that point was approx....

6-16 (38%) for 49 yards 0 TD's and 2 INT's

after it was 21-0 with 2:03 left in the first Winston was:

19-32 (59%) 352 Yards, 3 TD's 1 INT.

Interesting to say the least........ I am sure the authorities will be pulling game footage. I would love to re-watch that first half myself now.

Just one thing that doesn't add up for me, if he had some brains (some might argue that's a big IF though):
Why would you suck THAT bad? The 1st half bet was Louisville +1, as a QB he pretty much can make sure they don't score on offense. Even if you were worried about a defensive score, there is absolutely no need to let the score get to 0-14 or even 0-21. You're down 0-7 and your bet is pretty much golden because you won't go for 2 (or if Jimbo called a 2pts conv., you just mess up that play). Once it's 0-14 and you were him, you should keep it at a 7-14pts margin at least to not make the comeback any harder than necessary.
Why risk your chances to go to the BCS playoffs (esp. because he has no influence on FSUs defensive performance in the 2nd half, so even if his offense scored a TD on every drive, it's not a sure thing they could come back from a 21pts deficit in the 2nd half) or risk hurting your draft stock significantly by playing bad on purpose for longer than you need to, which could easily cost you 6- or 7-figures on draft day?

Whoa, you are thinking way to logically for this forum man, better get on board with the rest of these conspiracy theorists. Guess the defense was a part of this fix too, along with an offensive line that couldn't block for shit. Maybe they split the $2750 22 ways....:neenee:

Oh god I just realized the source was Incarcerated Bob haha. Those who believed this have been duped. Highly doubt this gets reported through any reputable media sources.

I could understand a book being pissed if they thought somebody was trying to freeroll em on a fix , BUT , my question is : Why would a bookie turn over screen shots and receipts to IBN ?

This makes no sense. Even if there was an agenda to harm Winston why go to IBN , why not a local tv station , or even better yet the FBI ?

This is either a hoax , OR , the guy they are calling a bookie really isn't a bookie but just someone who got an account for the Rabb kid to play through.

Regardless what happens with this story.
The bookie is going to end up on Americas Dumbest Criminals.

What an idiot bookie.

Now he is going to get investigated and exposed for running an illegal betting operation for bringing attention to his bookie business weather or not this Winston has anything to do with this or not.

I hope he enjoys that $5500 that he stiffed from the guy who he should have paid regardless if him and Winston was point shaving or not.
