This is the HONDO (nypost) and MR.A (sportsrumble) fade thread. I dont give a shit about MLB, games, pitching stats, bullpens, etc. Don't even like baseball.
I analyzed 2.5 years of PAST data of HONDO. Anything can and will happen this year, so proceed with caution.
NOTE: NO GUARANTEES WHATSOEVER THIS THREAD WILL MAKE PROFIT.
Here is how this thread and games will be graded/decided:
1) Fade all hondo's plays FOR FLAT UNITS, regardless of what units he releases.
2) If hondo plays a dog that is getting +150 or more in your book, FADE WITH RUN LINE TAKING FAVE. (ex. Hondo "dodgers +160, you take PHIILIES -1.5 +120
Yes, you occasionally got dicked with your team winning by 1 run, but a lot of the times you saved huge juice because team lost outright, or even got better than even money due to your team winning by 2+.
3) For the limited data I have of Mr.A, thanks to Fgators thread for last year, he seemed to peak for faders first 2 months, primarily due to dogs covering early, as is usually the case. Mr. A takes faves almost all the time, be prepared to take a whole bunch of shitty teams and shitty pitchers.
4) Mr.A's games only one rule modification: Do not fade anything that requires you to take -130 or greater. (Ex. Mr. A padres+130, You, Rockies -150 no play.)
This is my thread, so I posted my rules. Feel free to open one of your own, or do what you think is best. IMO this is best chance to win max $$. I spent 2 weeks dissecting the Mr.A thread at RX, and the HONDO data from scamdicappers.com
Since everyone has different books/lines, just shop around. Sometimes its gonna be I have +155 so I have to take -1.5, whereas your book may peak at +148 so you fade at taking fave at -163 or whatever. I am grading ALL plays on the line and wager I made.
I am fading hondo for $100/game, and Mr.A for 40%, or $40/game.
I will post FADE play only, what you should be playing, which will be opposite of these fools.
