Yeah, but he's a shitty shooter, not like he's 84% and going 0 for 7..

He's a 50% shooter !

thats what i was thinking too....make them both, we cant lose..

when he misses the first, i hope he misses the second, so they will play defense, and even if it goes, we go to o/t with their two players out....

only way to get screwed, make one, miss one, get miracle 3 at buzzer...

sure enough, it happens just like that..

Nate,

Okafor is not a point shaver...so no hmmmm. that's rediculous. Shit like this happens all the time in Basketball and Vegas is too sharp. I should have been on the points tonight because everybody and their brother was on UCONN and you know what that usually means. Even if it was total luck that he banked it off the backboard. I've won so much on UCONN this year that I couldn't stand to go against them. They should have lost this game.

Fellas, just be glad that your huskies won the game. they didnt lead the game one time, since it was 15-14. the huskies were LUCKY to win, this kind of thing happens all the time. I remember a few games off the top of my head this season where this has affected the side. one in particular i remember is tim picketts 3 at the buzzer to cover against duke on a sun. nite game. happens all the time.

Con was whipping up on Duke at the beginning of the game until Okafor went out for the remaining of the 1st H. If he played regular minutes, Duke would have lost by atleast 8-10.

TIGER no doubt you are right.... no shaving or anything shady...just saying how odd it was that the 2nd free throw was so solid and that it was basically the only scenario that could have lead to this outcome...good luck to all!!!!

Egd: I agree, i think the officiating was suspect for both sides. I was sitting around with a good buddy tonight, and we were commenting on how the officiating tonight was alot different than the tourney was as a whole. I hate to say it, but i think the outcome of the game was predicated on how quick the officials were with their whistles. I think it hurt both teams at certain times in the game. Thats the way it goes and i guess it was meant to be that Duhon would hit a running 40 footer at the horn to cover the spread. Unreal, i love sports gambling more than anything in this world. Win or Lose i love it.

It was an alternate 2nd H line at Pin. I played -7.5 @ 5 Dimes, & -8.5 @ Pin. I was all over UCONN in the 2nd H.

When some people say this shit isn't fixed at all...they must be somewhere else. You know damn well all the players, coaches, and refs know what that line is and the total...THEY KNOW!! And they have the control to change it and move it any way they are told to do so....I'm sure a TON of money was on UCONN tonight and weird shit happens when that's the case in a game....like I said they KNOW what's going on and what's at stake in these games. When you become a college and pro athlete you enter the world of sports betting as well because millions are put down each day on games....you can't tell me these athletes don't know what's going on with that and they are asked to do certain things in games sometimes to make the money move in certain directions. Perfect example is when Michael Strahan got the record breaking sack a few years ago....that was so fixed by Brett Favre it wasn't even funny. That just shows you players can do anything they want to make something go a certain way at any time...just one strike or one free throw can swing millions in one way...it's all about entertainment and keeping the fans on their toes. Not saying all of this happens every game or all the time, but I do strongly believe it happens A LOT in sports!! This is just my personal opinion and I know many differ on what I say, but just thought I'd throw it out here since probably many of you got screwed taking UCONN tonight. Good Luck as always!

If you took Uconn your a fvcking idiot...There is no reason to have Uconn and bitch about it. It was the obvious play and was the biggest square play of the year. Will someone tell me how they bet Uconn and thought they would win????????????????????

A ****ing idiot? So the people who got on Uconn when they opened +1 & got them at PK like myself are idiots because we won? Yeah ok good one.

So let me guess people who lost with Uconn should have expected the best player on the floor Okafor to play about 3 mins in the 1st H?

Where do people come up with these comments.

Why is that? I had UConn -1. I would think a sucker bet would be Duke plus any points. With all the calls that Duke gets, who wouldn't want them. UConn shot 21-32 FT's (including numerous front ends of 1-1's) that cost them the cover. My local penciled in nothing but Duke. Tells me the like was set about right. It was a tough push for me but it happens.
