vid is floating around out there somewhere but here's the speech that led to the parent having security guards serve the masked up school board which was 4 chicks and a dude that weighed a bit more than Bama's 2021 offensive line
“This is segregation based off of your own fears and your own personal interests. The people in this country have had enough, and we are fighting back. I have something to give you,” he said.
He called security and asked them to do him a “favor,” asking “Would you please hand those forms to the board members?” As the security person was handing out the papers serving each member, the father announced, ” You’ve been officially served a $200 million lawsuit with six complaints and violations or multiple amendments.”
“Your job is not to be concerned with the children’s health,” he told them. “You’re not nurses. You’re not doctors. You are not responsible for their health organization. Your only focus is on our children’s education, and the education system here is 50th in the state, and you make almost more money than anybody else. It is very clear that you have failed in doing that job. This country is not alone. It’s time that we wake up. Now, we’re gonna do a lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit. We can throw it out as much as you want. We’re gonna keep this paperwork on your desk and keep the problem going until we get exactly what we want.”
“This is not a negotiation, we will have our freedom of choice, and we’re gonna see you in court"

no idea but since I wouldn't trust the percentages that were reported by WaPo or NYT i guess it doesn't matterAny idea what percentage of this country have mask mandates in their schools?
Just curious
We have mask mandates where i live and reading the message boards regarding mask mandates reminds me of reading the poly forum here

in Pgh suburbs schools suggest it but do not mandate it. pretty wild how many parents strap a mask on their youngster when they don't have to...but hey, their kid their choice i guess CO2 is as good as O2
We are mandated here which i am fine with as you know my stance on masks (thats just me, other think different and thats perfectly fine). I could see us wearing masks until at least after flu season (lets see what happens in april?)
Main reason i'm fine with masks is that think back when you were in school with those kids who had bad hygiene, picked their nose, coughed without covering their mouth, and did other gross stuff.
Thats why i dont mind kids wearing masks (although i'll be excited when we all can feel safe when nobody has to wear a mask anymore)
certainly a little extended daily oxygen deprivation is better than catching a cold from a fellow student that might keep 'em out of school 2 days. smart thinkinWe are mandated here which i am fine with as you know my stance on masks (thats just me, other think different and thats perfectly fine).
