Last year I backed the Lakers on almost every play because they were THAT DAMN GOOD. But this year, the team stinks and is old, lazy, and unmotivated. I will be fading them whenever the line is unreasonably in their favor because they are still viewed as a public darling. You saw the real Lakers in that Bucks game where they got stomped by a 5-foot-3 Earl Boykins-led group, and you will be seeing them again tonight as they get crushed by the Heat. This time, instead of Earl Boykins, the Lakers will face Lebron James. Quite a difference. LBJ, Wade, and Bosh steam roll thru the old injured Lakers in a glimpse of things to come in the NBA.
