Anyone interested in helping test new platform, please signify your interest here.

Please be discreet, flexible, patient & courteous-- main reason this is only going up here.

This will be totally at managerial discretion / needs, so zero/one/any/all may or may not be chosen.

Best wishes always, & thank you in advance for your interest.

If this is a viable exchange for US customers, consider me sold. Contact me via e-mail from a mod. Thanks.

I'm interested, too. I do use betfair very often and I'm a software developer so I might provide detailed error reports.

Good News & Bad News:

Bad: sorry to get your hopes up-- i am having nothing to do with them...they just don't communicate promptly, if at all. Should've seen the signs of how they've done it in the past to others. Be that as it may, i will use them as soon as they're up to make money-- and as well give you now the....

Good: it is Ehorse...they're ironing out still a couple of bugs, but more importantly, they're finalizing the seeding aspect, and THAT is very good news for us. There will be sports & horses-- & the horse part is what is planned on being totally seeded.
Regrettably, management can use with a few lessons in marketing, public relations & straight talk: they say they're open to our suggestions & want our help, but their actions don't follow that: either treating everyone like mushrooms OR behaving like the proverbial con that owes one money-- offering a periodic different song & dance, though only when pressed, instead of volunteering something once a promised deadline has come and gone.
There is just no excuse for their present style of communication: no answer at times, much less a prompt one..and as well hiding behind flunkies when finally issuing one.

SO, have patience-- we will $oon rape them.

totally seeded means what??? thanks.

Financial backers seed ALL pools for ALL horses for ALL tracks offered-- a good example is Betfair's Virtual Poker & Blackjack(bet for & against hands of other players)...if you'll try playing their demo games, you'll notice the large amounts available for each / all bet(s)...you can sign up for a non-money play ID & sample their games, even if in a banned country.

EHorse 'should' be very successful from the get go, as they won't just languish in the beginning with few offers / tiny handle.

BTW THAT is what occurrred unfortunately, in Betfair's horse area during this WC: you have many folks requesting offers, but few offering or matching. You'd often see several horses in a race with ZERO or minimal handle. Only a few dollars offered / matched...and at ridiculously undervalued odds to boot.
I will post, after the WC, a few days' live betting, and the difference in results will be readily apparent.

But even then, before the WC i had to be careful once the parlays passed 2-3 hundred dollars-- Ehorse should not suffer from that, w/ N.American instead of Euro bettors.

According to EHorse's cloudy & often-double speak language, their seeding is 98% complete, but they're holding off until it's at 100%.

I am disappointed to see that they have chosen to go to a 100% seeding structure. I was hoping to lay more odds than take. But I guess I can make a go of it.

Me too, Labeeb...but maybe that can help us...sometimes there are none or any decent lay offers on a horse...If i can get even a smidgeon better than 3-1 lay odds on a 2-1 parimutuel horse, i'l be able to live with that.

Fyi

It's coming along at the best possible pace it can manage...they're doing everything in house, and of course, they're not a Betfair that can throw unlimited resources & hordes of developers/coders at it...or as well have so many deep pockets lined up wishing to become seeders-- and at whatever terms the exchange wishes to impose too.

They're trying, but my personal take NOW is they won't make the Breeders' Cup...will be sometime this year...and of course, would not be surprised if some other eventuality pushes everything into next year, going by past results.

They've beta-tested some already in the past, but that's been starts & stops as issues have come up.

So, 'whenever' testing resumes in preparation for launch, y'all have already & will continue to carry my most extreme & reinforced recommends.

So, like that familiar parting shot: i'll see you when i see you.

Aside from all this, a constant & personal thanks to you all for your repeated encouragements & kindnesses.

I'm guessing it opens on the same day as the Breeder's Cup is held at Finger Lakes.

Hey, it took Betfair a LONG time to get their re-done exchange up and running...

In hindsight, they should've just bought ibetx or some other exchange.

Charles, could you send me an e-mail re: the specifics here. Don't have the time at the moment , but will have the time to put into it come mid Sept..............kinda wary of exchanges (see BETFAIR fiasco), but would be interested in the mechanics w/ E-HORSE as I do trade options on the S&P and this would dovetail nicely as a second source of income doing essentially the same thing .........tx and have a great day !!!

J:

1. address saved, in case you need to remove it.

2. my next project is setting up the options-- everything...commodities, currencies, whatever.

3. what little i know, i'm more than glad to pass on(and i may not know a lot, so a don't know reply to anything would be just that-- as opposed to not wanting to answer), but not sure what you mean:

specifics such as for instance?

And, what was so bad re Betfair(Fallon fiasco?) as it would concern us regular bettors, be done at another Exchange?

Thanks.

Any update on the progress with the Ehorse Exchange? Ibetx's limted action doesn't cut it for me and I can't use Betfair because of my residency so I have high hopes for the Ehorse exchange.
