ACE all im saying that to lay 7600 to win 2000 is not that smart a bet . If you bet that teaser you are getting your Steelers at an even bet and then if you want to hedge the minny bet and take the Eagles you will probably get them -7 or 8 pts at that point you could win both ways.

Yes, that is one of the drawbacks/risks of laying less juice,
albeit a quite small risk.

If you chose the Atlanta game instead of the Eagles,
then you could avoid that risk. But, then, you'ld have
to risk more dollars on the St Louis ML to cover the
amount wagered on the teaser.

Follow me on this please. I will show you how to get more bang for your buck!.


Tease Pitt to -2.5 in a two team 6.5 pointer with ATL -.5 risking 7600 to win 6909. (Risking -110 You will have to shop but it's out there Millenium comes to mind but there are many other books that have these types of odds)



If Pitt doesn't win by 2.5 you lose 7600 but if Pitt wins by 3 or more here is all you have to do.



Risk 4150 on STL on the Money line +250 to win 10375.


Now if ATL wins the game you net 2759$ (+6909 for the teaser win -4150 for the STL pk ML loss)


If STL wins you net 2775$ (+10375 for the STL ML win -7600 for the teaser loss)




RECAP: You are laying 7600$ to win roughly 2760$ which makes your play on Pitt -2.5 roughly equivilant to laying 2.75, instead of laying Pitt pk -380! Now ACEY we all know that it is much wiser to to lay 2.5 -275 than to lay pk -380. I understand that Pitt could win by exactly 2 or 1, but my way is a lot better ACEY in the long run.

BTW: If you do some shopping you can make the return even better. If you can find Pitt -8.5 out there and those shops allow you to tease at even money 6 pointers coupled with ATL -6.5 your return goes up. If you can find STL pk better than +250, your return goes up.

You have had a tremendous season, and are a real class act. That being said I TOTALLY disagree with "YOUR LINE" on the PAts/Indy game.

1. I am a Pats fan, so this may be a little biased.. but Manning hasn't beaten Belichick & the Pats the L6 attempts. The weather will not be 75 degrees, and the track will not be fast. And if you look at Indy's pts agst. good defenses (top 10) this year, it is considerably lower than their avg. And we all saw how overrated Denver's defense was.

2. We also all know that DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS. Why every year is there a team that everyone thinks is invinsible with their high-powered offense, and they get bumped out of the playoffs and a well-coached, good defensive team wins the Super Bowl.

3. Manning and his offense is nasty, no question. But Brady, Dillion and the NE offense will be just as potent going up against a BELOW AVG. defense in Indy. I'm not saying this will be a shoot-out, but if it is I don't see the Pats being smoked like Denver was. Tom Brady is not Jake Plummer. And if Belichick has his way, Brady and his boys will chew up as much clock as they can to keep that high-octane Colt's offense off the field.

Just my opinion. I also noticed you did not pick Indy yet, so if this is not your intention disregaurd this message.
