$2500.00 Take #429 Atlanta Falcons (-3) over St. Louis Rams (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 21)
This is my GAME OF THE WEEK my ONLY *** System play and ONLY ++++Investment Play++++..
for this week..
The Falcons had extra time to get ready for this game and I think don't think Mike Smith will allow them to overlook the Rams. St. Louis had a heartbreaking loss last week in San Francisco and it will be tough to bounce back. They have had the benefit of a very easy schedule and outside of a win against San Diego their resume is not that impressive this year. Atlanta looks like it might be the best team in the NFC and one of the best in the NFL. They have a much more established veteran team and more talent. St. Louis has covered four straight and I think that the books shorted them here as a result. The Falcons are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games and they don't have to worry about changing surfaces on the road this week. The favorite is 6-1 ATS in this series and these two franchises used to be divisional rivals. I will play the Falcons here and I expect another win for this hot team.
$800.00 Take #426 Kansas City (-7.5) over Arizona (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 21)
Arizona isn't getting good quarterback play and they haven't been able to protect their quarterbacks. That has led them to fall behind early and often and to commit a lot of turnovers that hang the defense out to dry. Arizona is just 2-6 ATS on the road and this is another team that I question whether or not they will play hard now that their season is pretty much over. Kansas City was embarrassed last week in Denver. But they have been so good this year that I think they will bounce back strong. Arizona has been outgained in eight straight games and they are very close to being a one-win team right now. This one looks like a blowout to get K.C. going back in the right direction.
$600.00 Take #419 Green Bay (-3) over Minnesota (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 21)
Green Bay wants nothing more than to sweep the Vikings to get revenge for losing to them twice last year. They definitely want to kick Brett Favre while he is down. I think that Minnesota knows that its playoff hopes died last week in Chicago. And all of the reports about this team hating its coach tells me that they won't play hard for him down the stretch. This situation looks a little like the Dallas situation before Wade Phillips was fired. The rested and motivated Packers will be too much. The Packers are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings and the road team is an outstanding 12-5 ATS.
$800.00 Take #413 Baltimore (-10) over Carolina (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 21)
Carolina just doesn't have enough here to compete with Baltimore. The Ravens have to be fuming after their late loss to Atlanta and they have no one to blame but themselves for blowing that game. I am sure they will tighten up and focus on not making the same types of mistakes this week. Carolina is without its top two QBs and they may be starting third-string QB Tony Pike this week. John Fox is on his way out and this team has given up on the season. Baltimore will win by twice this amount.
$500.00 Take #431 Tampa Bay (+3) over San Francisco (4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 21)
When is Tampa Bay going to get some respect! And maybe a better question is when will San Francisco stop getting so much respect. I don't think that the Niners should be favored over a team with twice as many wins. Tampa Bay is playing with a lot of confidence and they have won and covered three of their last four games. Tampa's coach said a couple weeks ago that he thinks his team is the best in the NFC. Well they are only one win below having the best record in the conference and they are hungry for more. Tampa Bay won on the road at Cincinnati and at Arizona as an underdog and I think they will do so again right here. San Francisco has been overrated all year and they are again here. Tampa Bay is 6-0 ATS on the road and I think they stay perfect.
