$2100.00 Take #215 New Orleans (-4.5) over Tampa Bay (1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 17)
This is my Game of the Week and it is part of the 99 System.

This is now an important game in the NFC South and I don’t think that the defending Super Bowl champions are going to lose it. They won 37-6 in Tampa last year. The Bucs are better but I don’t think that they have closed that much ground. New Orleans is an outstanding 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games after a loss. They lost a tough one last week in Arizona but that 30-20 score isn’t a good picture of how the game actually went. New Orleans’ defense has been playing even better this year than it was last year. And against a Bucs team that has had problems running the ball I think that the Saints will control the ball and the clock. New Orleans is 6-2 ATS in its last eight games in Tampa and the Bucs are just 2-11 ATS in their last 13 home games. Tampa is also 0-4 ATS as a home underdog and I don’t think that they have enough firepower to keep up in this one. Take the champs.

I'm curious, and you've probably explained this before, but how do you only lose $150 in vig on $3200 of losing bets? Even at 5% vig it must come out to more than that.

confused

Ace im confused, as you can see by my account history, ive been a long time follower of you on the rx (yes even 2 years ago when Dizzle seemed to be stealing your spotlight lol).. Never really posted much but always used your picks and the logic behind them as a tool for placing my own wagers. This year i noticed everything is different in regards to a) where your pics are located b) which pics are available to the public (like myself). I also keep reading about some email that you or wilheim sends? Am i missing something. Do i need to pay now for some pics while others appear to be free. Just confused and if you or someone that knows the deal could explain, it would be appreciated. Thanks and best of luck as always

Got NE at -2.5 and NO -4. Only played those 2 games as they were 99 system plays.
Thanks Ace.

Ace, once again a tough week. My question is - are you trying maybe too hard?

I'm not very keen on this "new" "411" system of yours. Last two weeks you pushed two 411 investment plays and they both lost. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for trying out new things... but if your sys99, which you swore by doesn't show the game as investment - why push it into an investment status using a system, which you only developed in week 4? I would rather see you pick a sys99 investment play and if 411 is on it as well - then push the investment higher (to $2500-$3000 level perhaps). I think that if you are so bent on using the new system, make it a max of $800 play until it actually is worth something. There's no reason or obligation to make a minimum of 2 investment plays in a week... there's no need to pick 6 games a week. Most of us are not even looking at your action plays unless they have a label of sys99. If you only see one investment game in a week - then by all means publish only one. Don't pick just for the sake of the numbers.

All I'm saying is that I'm not too happy with floating different systems around - it just seems like a good way to cover your butt at docsports, as even though you had a loosing week, I'm sure docsports will tout that you went 2-0 on sys99. If it happened that you lost a sys99 investment play but won a 411 investment - then they can tout that you won a 411 play. It's getting a bit too commercial for my own taste. Maybe less labeling and more focusing on what works and what used to work in the years past would help.

In any case, I wish you best of luck! Will definitely follow and see how the season progresses.
