$2300.00.-106 Take #415 Denver (-3.5) over Cincinnati (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4)
This play is from my NFL 411 System and it is my AFC Game of the Year.
I really like how this Denver team is looking. Peyton Manning is back to his old tricks and has this whole organization on the right track. The Broncos have played a very difficult schedule so far this year and they are undervalued. I had this spread closer to a touchdown so this one was a strong play from the start. The Bengals are coming off of a bye week. But they are just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games after a week off. I do not think that the bye week will have helped them catch up to Denver. The Broncos beat the Bengals last year in September. But this is a much better Denver team so I think they will do it again on the road. The Bengals have lost three straight games and lost to teams like Miami and Cleveland. They are struggling and it looks like a sophomore slump for Andy Dalton. The Bengals are 1-10-2 ATS in their last 13 games against AFC teams and they are 3-10-3 ATS in their last 16 games overall. Denver will capitalize on the Bengals mistakes and win this one by double digits. Lay the points.
$2100.00 EV Take #429 Chicago (-3.5) over Tennessee (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4)
This play is from my NFL 411 System.
The Bears are 6-1 and one of the best teams in football. They will have their way with this Titans team. The Bears have won six straight and their last two road games were blowout wins over the Jaguars and the Cowboys. Tennessee is coming off a bad overtime loss to Indianapolis. The Titans needed to win that game. But the defense gave up two late touchdown drives and that was over. I think it will be hard for Tennessee to get over that game. The Bears won an emotional game over the Panthers. They came from behind in the fourth quarter and won it on a last-second field goal. They have to be feeling great right now. The Bears defense is going to shut down Chris Johnson and they will take the cash from a Tennessee team that is just 3-8-1 ATS in its last 12 games overall.
$600.00-105 Take 'Under' 43.0 Miami at Indianapolis (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4)
The rookie quarterbacks on both side are getting all of the attention. But I like the defense that both teams are brining into this game. Miami looked excellent on defense against the Jets last week. I think they can do the same thing to the Colts this week on the road. Miami has gone 'under' in three straight games and hasn't given up over 14 points in any of those games. Indianapolis has gone 'under' in back-to-back games and its defense hasn't given up more than 13 points in either game. This one should be low scoring and very close between two up-and-coming teams.
winner.
$300.00 -105 Take #422 Cleveland (+3.5) over Baltimore (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4)
AND
$300.00 -110. Take 'Under' 42.5 Baltimore at Cleveland (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4)
This Baltimore team is beat up. They are in rough shape without Ray Lewis and Ed Reed on defense. I think that this team is going to continue to struggle. Cleveland played the Ravens tough in their first meeting and lost by just a touchdown. Now the Browns have some confidence after a win last week and they are setting up for a strong home stand. The Browns defense has improved in each of the last four weeks and has given up less points in each of the last four weeks. They only allowed 17 to Indianapolis and finally 6 to a strong Chargers offense last week. It is supposed to be cold again this week and this should be a smashmouth game between two rivals. The 'under' is 4-0 in the last four meetings and I think that this one will come down to the end. I think these three points are very valuable in a close, low-scoring game and I see one of these teams winning by a field goal or less. And Cleveland has just as good of a chance of getting this victory as the Ravens do. I think that this one will be 20-17 and I will cash on both tickets on it.
