One other thing unfortunalty this is a what have you done for me lately buisness alot of these guys dont start out w a 50,000 bank roll like ace does and probably dont have the best money management skills either I mean if these guys followed you thru the first 3 weeks they are probbaly done for the season. And to charge money on top of this is why there is just disgust. I guess you just need to follow your gut since its your money your losing not aces. Hopefully money management is being used thats all I can say
The year I started at docsport I told the forum...so I don't know what you are talking about!....and most of the big guys plus the little guys are only down 7 units.....in my email list I show players this......this is a up and down business....but if you are in it for the long haul. As i am. Than 3 weeks is small.....

hno: You should be telling them not to be gamblers but to be grinding gamblers. You also may want to remind them that there's no gurantees, that's why it's called gambling and whether or not your bankroll is big or small has nothing to do with it. If you have a bigger bankroll, don't practice good money managment, realize you get what you pay for all that happens is you lose your moeny bigger and faster.I use Doc's (one of a few) I made 8 bets Sat and Sunday and went 6/8. What does that mean? Nothing, could have just as easily gone the other way, which is why no matter what your bankroll you need to practice good money management #1. In poker AA beats 72 heads up 90% of the time. . .you know what that really means? it Loses almost 10% of the time. The way you protect yoursefl from losing your bankroll is good money management, then you don't sweat the bumbs in an otherwise curveey, long winding road

First of all, ACE has been a major contributor at the Rx for a number of years. A number of years all his contributions were FREE!!! If he charges now for his plays he still provides valuable information here on the Rx for FREE!!! In the world of sports gambling there are no guarantees as far as picks or plays and you play all games at your own risk. The ball bounces in mysterious ways and sometimes teams just don't show-up(ex. Jets defense vs Oakland)...If you don't understand the world of sports gambling then one shouldn't be gambling PERIOD!!! If one is gambling with short money or with poor money management one should NOT be gambling. Not sure what Ace is down so far this year but with proper money management, whatever he is down would not be hurting his clients with proper money management. If you bet sports like an idiot or some moron who lives just for today then you deserve to be mad but only mad at yourself for wagering like an idiot.
I tell all the young guys starting out, as important as picking winners is, more important is MONEY MANAGEMENT!!! I've know guys that have hit over 60% and ended up losing their bankrolls. Believe me, years and years and years ago that was me. I was young and cocky then, now I'm older wiser but still cocky LOL. In sports gambling you have to remember several things; (1) understand your bankroll, (2) set a percentage of that bankroll per play so that you are in it for the long haul and you'll be able to withstand a losing week without a huge hit (this is a major problem to many gamblers today and thus why some are griping on here),(3) The Star Spangled Banner plays everyday in the world of sports betting and make sure your bankroll lives on, and finally the best advise that addresses it all (4) Bet Slow you're bound to go, bet fast and you won't last. Sports betting if you are in it for the long haul is a marathon, bet accordingly. DON'T PUT YOUR WHOLE BANKROLL IN PLAY FOR ANY GIVEN WEEKEND OR EVEN MONTH FOR THAT MATTER!!!
I am not a customers of Ace's but I appreciate his contribution on here and have for years. He is an asset to the Rx and his information and insight is not to be taken lightly.
So to all you guys griping and bitching about losing plays grow-up and undertand sports betting. If you are going to gripe, the season is long at least save it till the end. My guess is Ace will turn it around if he has had a few bad weeks recently.

I know listen to slapshot. The guys has been a winner for the last seven years. He's honest gives his answers to all questions and doesnt ask for anything in return. Every time one of you has called him out on something he backs it with eviedence. He's obviously good at what he does and makes a living at it just leave him the hell alone hes posting what he plays. Go make your own picks and worry about those.
Ace, I am a subscriber. I am not here to complain but I would like to put in my two cents. Of course we are all here to win and make money. I have been playing over 25 years but also am very busy and although a good capper, am not so good as a gambler sometimes......(chasing when losing), which can get expensive quickly.
It's not the losing streak I am worried about. What concerns me most is sharp money coming in and going against your picks which seems to be happening this season..... (lost 4 out of 5 investment nfl investment plays)....... and the money coming in is sharp due to the teams it is being placed on and in the simultaneous wave that screens change across sportsbooks. Do you see any significance of this when you are factoring in your plays? Obviously when games get steamed against us, and then lose it is quite upsetting. I am not blaming you or here to cause crap.............. we are here to make money and beat the books.
Do you ever feel that there is smart money somehow utilizing your information to be used against us? (i.e. Ace has shown how he utilizes his model for making picks and we can use that to our advantage in getting better numbers on the other side?) Maybe a bit far fetched but when your games are getting steamed against by the "non public", maybe there is something that needs to be adapted in your selection process?

this happens all the time...all someone has to do is sign up on thursday and see the plays and money could easy go against me and with me....6 years ago I had a playoff run of 22-3...10 min's after I posted my picks the line moved a 1/2 a point or the Vig moved from -105 to -120!!!...pinnnacle was the 1st to move the line. Its was not me...but at the time I got 50,000 views a week in my thread...if 500 players jump on the same game betting $500 a game...it move the line...if you dont know...BW is tied to Pinnacle!!!.. I cant factor the steam into my plays...I'm a stat guy....I do look at it...if the number are right...its team A...if its not I pass...been winning to long in the NFL to stop now.
BW is a master of middles.....the key to follow if you got the time ...is in the last two hours before a game starts.
also there is a group in Las vegas that sits and look at the line service all day. the goal is to get free money....vs line vs vig ...its about 20k on one side and 20 k on the other side...and you make $700 on team "a" if they win.... and you will make $300 on team" b" if they win.....this goes on ...day after day....something to thing about when you see a line move.
