The Spurs dominated the Cavs for most of Game 1 but they let a huge second half advantage shrink to five in the 4th quarter. But since we're talking about a 1st-half play today, lets take a look at the first 24 minutes of the opening game. The Spurs beat the Cavs 40-35. Look for an even more dominant first half today from San Antonio as Bruce Bowen continues to frustrate Lebron James. Cleveland has no one to match the trio of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobli and lets face it the Cavs are not an offensive force so it will be tough, if not impossible to score enough to keep up with San Antonio. The Spurs core has played together for a long time and bought into head coach Gregg Popovich’s defensive philosophy long ago. They communicate non-stop throughout a game and trust each other to be in the right place at the right time. The Spurs are just too experienced and balanced for King James and the Cavs.
