With DET and CLE you've got two converging story lines and only one can play itself out.

1) Is this the story of the heavily favored champs that temporarily lost their focus showing what made them champs in the first place by come up big on the road...

-OR-

2) Is it the beginning, as every great superstar's story must start somewhere, of the Lebron James Story in which DET will just be a footnote as JB silences the doubters (me among them) and proves to be David to the Pistons Goliath? You've got gotta admit, if in 7 years the Cavs have 3 rings and James has a few MVP's, sports history will dub this his coming out party.

I ain't touching this game, sometimes you just gotta watch and enjoy!

That said, I'm surprise to see
ANY team GETTING 5.5 points (Oly)
IN A SERIES THEY LEAD,
AT HOME!!!,
and also think CLE is classic teaser bait - adding points to a HOME DOG in the elimination game of a series they lead (wonder how many times that's happened before) and CLE knows tonight's their best chance to win it, if it goes back to DET, forget it!

Good luck,

There are many uncertainty in the Pistons game. We've never seen these Pistons all year losing 3 in a row, will we see 4? Will the Pistons and Flip Saunders finally be able to make adjustments in this game? The outcome of this game will gonna lie on how the Pistons response with their back against the wall. Are we gonna see one of the biggest upsets in a 7 game NBA playoff series in history or the former champ triumph back to the Eastern Conference Final?

Mavs and Spurs - No doubt Mavs have shown they play better ball against the aging and injured Spurs. However, Mavs are just slightly head above Spurs. Each of previous outcomes have been decided by the last few mins of the game that this one should be no different. It's not easy to take the Mavs against the best road team Spurs in a game where their backs on the wall. No doubt Pop will have a game plan and the trio once again come out in full force. This really depend on which team you're buying into right now: the improved Mavs or the experienced veteran Spurs.

Two games, two outcomes that may change the complexion of this entire playoff.

I think this game is all abt the tempo, Detroit need to speed things up, I heard experts saying Det would be favored in a slowtempo game, but look how bad their halfcourt offense is, Chauncey making some dribbles and hoisting up a 3-ball is not the answer, they need to go back to moving the ball and to the unselfish play that made them the best regular season team.

Cleveland defense is not as good as it looked. I think Detroit thought they could beat this team easily in halfcourt game, they need to get out and running and moving the ball better and exploit Cavs defense little bit more.

Homecourt is huge here, but I think if Cavs can control the tempo they have a great chance to cover here, obviously if Detroit can speed this up they can destoy all hopes for Cavs here because noway Cavs can win game 7 in Det. Impossible to say what will happen tonight but Detroit always stepped up when they had their back against the wall so I think they should come out on top but wouldnt bet on it, 5p is a big handicap for a roadteam in a game 7 (I know it's game 6 but the winner here will advance).

DEFENSE, clap clap, DEFENSE, clap clap....Detroit will win this game easily if they just stop the ball. I must have seen Lebron drive in for layups at least fifty times. And if they weren't getting those, they'd get offensive rebounds cause no one was blocking out. Lazy defense for Detroit has put them in this position. Usually they hold teams down for several minutes at a time. Not this series. WILL they be able to contain the Lebronseses? I dont know. I do think that they come out hot and get a double digit lead sometime early on. First half play would be my thought, but as usual I'll wait for the experts on here and then decide.

all these are great posts but if you ask me the cavs for the series at +170 mybookie is the best bet for the value. the numbers all say that the winner of game five usually win the series. I know the pistons are the defending champs and all and all are pretty good but lets not forget that the cavs have beat them three times and once in detroit. the fact that they are young and the pistons are battle tested are the only draw backs to the cavs winning this series but I think that lebron will and mates will be able to over coome this and take the series. if you don't like that bet then take the cavs at home with the extra points all they need to do is keep it close. as said above I will wait and see what the experts have this is just my two cents. good luck on all your bets.

Detroit has their backs against the wall because they are not going to the basket-settling for jumps. Say what you like but Saunders is no Brown and in most cases the pressure in an elimination game normally falls on the team trying to win the series however this is different no one in the world thought the Cavs had a chance not even the Cavs , in my opinion they will play very loose and certainly have a great chance to close this out. I think Flip is more nervous about losing than his players are, can you see the Detroit papers calling for his head if they go down. If you can't play the Cavs tonight I suggest just watching for fun. GL to all

I LOVE ME SOME DETROIT which means take the cavs. I cant win. :nohead:

I Will get all the loose change I have, collect all the debts everyone owes me and unload on the Pistons, It's now or never and I think they are super pumped, plus the NBA wants to milk out Lebron for every penny they can get. :fatboy: :fatboy: Me and the Fat boy are taking Detroit and the over. So, everyone else take the cavs and the under.:lolBIG:

Unless Detroit smokes them by 15. I think it's a better bet to put 3 units on the spread. -5.5. But hey that's just me.
