I was remembering back to right before the election in 2016. At the time, I was living in one of the Democratic hot spots (San Francisco Bay Area). I remember many saying how Trump had no chance to win (I would honestly include myself in that thinking...even knowing that Clinton was a terrible candidate). But the one thing that even had me second guessing my own thought process was the fact that every time I would ask someone why I should vote for Clinton (I never talk politics at work so no one knew where I stood on most things), all the people I asked could come up with were reasons why I shouldn't vote for Trump. Then I would reel them back in and say "I didn't ask you why I shouldn't vote for Trump...I asked why I should vote for Clinton". And pretty much across the board, I got silence and/or reasons that were completely irrelevant to me.

So again, I would ask the same question. We have a virus that Trump didn't create. We have an incident in Minnesota that Trump didn't create that has resulted in mass rioting and looting. Obviously it's easy to play Monday morning quarterback, but even then, I'm not hearing much in the way of how things could have been handled differently that would have made all that much of a difference. I'm not concerned about the media as they have been in a full court press since 2016 and relentless in their criticism (big deal) so posting a bunch of crap about what they think is a waste of time.

So go ahead and plug in Biden or whoever you think will be the Democratic candidate and explain what they would have done with their magic wand to change any of what has happened and how the situation would have been better.

In my opinion i believe that every President would have done the same, but they would use a different language on the press and their speeches. Trump knows how to start a fight with his tongue. Maybe people don't like that on a president and they are getting angry because of that.

Look up joint enterprise and get back to me....

So, tell me again what they get charged with? You want to charge all four of them with 3rd Degree Murder? You think that will stick? How'd that work out in the Freddie Gray case?

Sometimes you just have to post the obvious question to people like you did here..

This is a really great question. We know that all of the good things that have happened in the past 3.5 years are because of everything Trump has done to Make America Great Again. We also know that no Democrat could ever do that all the Great things Trump has done. That means it is quite obvious that if anything happens that someone doesn't like, such as coronavirus or the killing George Floyd, Trump is still doing things that are great for America. If any Democrat were president, they would only be making things worse. Does anyone disagree with that?

He could’ve shown a lot more compassion for Floyd and perhaps that would help ease tensions.

Has anyone noticed that the squad is conspicuous by their absence in this thread?

So you believe if the President showed more compassion, there would have been less looting, less violence, and the media would have emphasized what a benevolent person the President was? And if someone else was President, none of what we're experiencing would have happened?

It would’ve been a start. You gotta make an attempt to unite in times like this.

As far as how it would unfold, I dunno. Tough to run the counterfactual.

Have atleast 1 good speech showing compassion for the guys death.

Well, I think we can agree to disagree on that one. I don't think it would have mattered one bit and I certainly don't think the media would suddenly be telling everyone what a nice guy the President was. I don't think you honestly believe that either.

Not just Floyd but how about just recognize their movement. How about one of his, “they’re good people” for blacks? He said that about a white supremacist group that drove over innocent people In Charlottesville.

He literally could’ve said anything other than what he said. Dominate them. But that’s what happens when you’re a little sissy bitchboy cuck and you have to call Putin for approval and advice. Just like his followers. Fascist gammons
