Ever heard of third place not getting money in a 13 team league?

I just found out after I lost my playoff game that only the two top spots are getting paid. The commissioner of the league decided this later on without telling anyone. :WTF:

I got into a huge argument with the guy. He writes the whole league and compares having a consolation game is like the Saints and Pats having a game last year at the same time as the Super Bowl.

I wrote him back: If we're making these kind of comparisons, how about the fact that the Saints and Pats got money for making the playoffs?

We're now having a game for third.
