Obama dropped the ball by issuing a warning. Just dumb, and I wish he'd stop that crap after his Syria debacle. As long as we don't get involved militarily, it's the right policy, IMO.

I should of said preventative. We can't get involved militarily IMO, that would be disaster. We are left looking in from the outside, we need China to help us out a little on this one and I don't know if that is going to happen.

This is my last election,” Obama interjects. “After my election, I have more flexibility.”

...
“I understand,” he told the U.S. president. “I will transmit this information to Vladimir.”

China is too smart to help out anybody in this one. I doubt they take much of a definite stand, but will be glad to offer both sides a loan at high interest. ^!:

Well well well, looks like the Wrong Way conservatives are wrong again. I wonder if any of them will apologize to Obama. Doubt it...

The same news agency later quoted an unnamed representative at the fleet's headquarters as saying no assault was planned, adding: "This is complete nonsense."

Meanwhile in Moscow, the speaker of Russia's lower parliament house said on Monday that "for now, there is no need" to send the Russian armed forces into Ukraine.

On Saturday, President Vladimir Putin secured the parliament's permission to use the military in Ukraine if he wishes, citing the need to protect Russians in the neighbouring nation.
"The decision ... only gives the right (to use the armed forces), which can be exercised in case of necessity; for now there is no need," State Duma speaker Sergei Naryshkin told the state-run Rossiya-24 television in an interview.

Everyone in the USA wants peace. The only question that remains is, peace through strength or peace through capitulation?

Russia engaged in a major violation of treaty
Bill Gertz is reporting that Russia is engaged in a major violation of the terms of the 1987 Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty with the United States by building a new medium-range missile banned under the accord, according to U.S. intelligence officials.
Disclosure of the treaty violation comes as Barack Obama last week called for a new round of arms negotiations with Moscow aimed at cutting deployed nuclear warheads by one-third.
Intelligence officials said internal assessments identified Russia's new Yars M missile that was tested earlier this month as an INF missile with a range of less than 5,500 kilometers.
"The intelligence community believes it's an intermediate-range missile that [the Russians] have classified as an ICBM because it would violate the INF treaty" if its true characteristics were known, said one official.
However, Russia is denying its new Yars M missile represents an INF violation.

My comment: Ukraine did not pop out of the blue and that was not the first time Putin has flaunted Obama. Of course you probably picked all this up via the lame stream media right. LOL

Putin "infuriated" by Obama's "bored kid" remark
Elizabeth Sheld is reporting that The New York Times is reporting that an anonymous source described Russian President Vladamir Putin as "infuriated" when Barack Obama described Putin's body language "like the bored kid in the back of the classroom."
Suspicion of Barack Obama only intensified after his decision to scuttle a summit meeting next week in Moscow and to describe Mr. Putin in unusually personal terms at a news conference, saying his body language often made him look "like the bored kid in the back of the classroom."
And while Obama went on to say "when we’re in conversations together, oftentimes it’s very productive" nevertheless "the comment infuriated Mr. Putin, according to one Russian official not authorized to be quoted by name."

Kinda agree! Obama is in a bind here with no good options. In Syria Obama's RED LINE meant nothing because waring with the Assad faction would have put him on the side of the radical Sunni Al-Quida types who usurped the anti-Assad revolution from the original
Syrian freedom fighters.

Here siding with the Ukranian nationist verbally is the only thing he can do. Again those reasonable Ukrainian who originally protested
peacefully in Kiev-Maidan there protest was taken over by thugs from the Right Sector & Svoboda. Oleh Tyahnybok, the towering and intimidating far-right leader of Svoboda has many of his fellow ultra right in the new "Rump" parliament. The fact is that he would like to limit the rights of other nationalities living in this country - first and foremost, Russians and Jews, no doubt. He does not want to build a civic but an ethnic one, built upon affirmative action for Ukrainians (or negative discrimination against all others. “If there are parties which defend the interests of peasants, workers or national minorities, why can’t there be a political force defending the
why can’t there be a political force defending the interests of the [majority]?” Tyahnybok asked.

Tyahnybok & his partner in crime Aleksandr Muzychko the notorious leader of the Right Sector. Back in 2007 he pledged to fight
against "communists, Jews and Russians for as long as blood flows in his veins. These thugs and there minions took over from
the Peaceful protestants with Molotov cocktails & guns.enabled opposition to reneg on the agreement that set up new elections and created a peaceful transition of the government. Instead they were drunk with power and used violence and intimidation. All is not what
western western media projects it to be. These "freedom fighters" ( a.k.a Banderas and Pravy Sektor a.k.a neo-nazi)
take away the freedom to speak Russian the very first day they took over the government.
What's next they are going to come up with then what's next they are going to come up with then?

Washington’s flat-footed, deer-in-the-headlights incomprehension about Russia’s Crimean adventure undermines President Obama’s broader credibility in a deeply damaging way. If he could be this blind and misguided about Vladimir Putin, how smart is he about the Ayatollah Khameni, a much more difficult figure to read? President Obama is about to have a difficult meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu in which he will tell Netanyahu essentially that Israel should ground its national security policy on the wisdom of President Obama and his profound grasp of the forces of history. The effect will be somewhat undermined by President Obama’s failure to understand the most elementary things about Vladimir Putin.

Don't worry, the adoration of Obama by his sycophants proceeds unabated!
