he's probably top 5 or 7 college players of all time now..

isnt football amazing when you think of how great players can be at the college level and not even make a team in the pros.

no other sport is like that.

Tebow is Garbo.

He has no chance in the NFL.

End of discussion. I said end of discussion.

WRONG ! he is Steve Young reincarnted..tough to tackle and tough as nails. Tebow is a leader of men. I would love to see you say these lies in the same room as Tebow. I bet you gave up your lunch money early and often.

Steve Young is the number #1 rated passer in the history of the NFL. He is no Steve Young, let me know when they get a bust of Tebow in Canton.

I think people confuse great talent with great competetior (sp).

I would say he ranks about 6th on the all-time Gator list at the present time.

Tebow is going to have to settle on being a football version of Crash Davis. Three weeks in the NFL is all he'll see, but at the CFB level he'll be one of the greats. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I would say above all stats by a QB, winning is the most important/impressive. With 5 losses in two years, there is no way he is the greatest Gator ever....don't even mention greatest CFB player. There is a long long list ahead of him

I wouldn't have a problem saying to his face at all. Church boy blows up because he can't take criticisim? Doubt it. I just happen to think their's better talent in the NFL than him. Except maybe Jamarcus Russel. Now since you brought up my lunch money into this, Awwwww Hell....yes I admit i gave up my lunch money alot but not because of what you think. Way to the side of the playground we always had a game of craps going when the teacher wasn't looking. To this day I think the dice were loaded.

I agree with this point.

Dorsey and Leinhart lost 2 games as starters by a combined 10 and 6 points respectively.

Did you just compare Tim Tebow to Hall of Fame and Super Bowl QB Steve Young? Did I read this right? He's Steve Young because he's tough and hard to tackle? I guess when Jared Lorenzen played at Kentucky he was kind of like Steve Young as well because he was tough and hard to tackle as well.

This should be bookmarked and revisted as a candidate for dumbest post of the year.

That Steve Young comparison got by me. Steve Young, had he not had Montana in his way, could have been talked about as being the best. Walsh said one of his biggest regrets was not running the Single Wing offense with Young (that's the in vogue WILDCAT offense that came to fame at Arkansas two years ago

since we're talking cfb only, tebow has already surpassed him easily.

mmm...Emmitt started as a freshman and only ran for 1,000 yards in 7 games, which was a record at the time (still might be), 224 yards his first game. Freshman season was on par with what Herschal Walker and Adrian Peterson did. Emmitt had a pretty good junior year and only went on to rush for 3900 yards in 2.5 years. Tebow's done good, but I think Emmitt had quite a bit less talent around him. And before we put god status on Timmy, he has the same number of rings as a starting qb as his predecessor Chris Leak. He's got one year left, but watchout for Percy Harvin...he just might just be the best player on the team.

Believe me it pains me to say this after oall the bad things I said about them in their underclass days

The guy that invented Gatorade is the greatest Gator ever.

Tebow should head straight into some type of Coaching Intership in the NFL if they had one. Tebow's greatest skill is the ability to motivate. If his IQ is greater than a rock, he'll make a good coach.

In the NFL, Tebow will have a greater shot at being the first male cheerleader than a player.
