Wife says he bet on San Jose games, his team. This is a huge story if this is true.

NEW YORK -- The National Hockey League today released the following statement:

"The League was made aware this evening of a post on social media alleging that San Jose Sharks Player Evander Kane bet on NHL games. The integrity of our game is paramount and the League takes these allegations very seriously. We intend to conduct a full investigation and will have no further comment at this time."

Not surprising after everything came out about his gambling debts. Probably happens a lot more than we think. At least he was betting on himself. The way I first heard the story was that he was " throwing " games which to me implies he was betting against himself. Not sure how much 1 player in a team sport like hockey can have as an impact on the game. Now if it was a goalie that I could see. Interesting story either way I'm guessing he's headed for a divorce lol.

There are allegations that he might have thrown games and as discussed this is fairly easy to do by turning over puck. Not a guarantee your opponent will win but it is a significant edge. If you wager against the Sharks each time you should end up a couple of units ahead.

1) claim gambling and/or alcohol and pills addiction, and if that doesn't work
2) cite mental health on the fritz, and if that doesn't work
