i usually forget these bets so even 1 or 2 winners is a surprise to me...

Dual Forecast
Group B
Germany + Holland +110
the good part is it doesn't matter 1st or 2nd so this bet is very attractive to me. I know Portugal is good (apparently) but they are still chockers and still 1 step behind the two giants. I guess Denmark could surpise but i'd be shocked.

Group D
England and Ukraine +450
i just hate France and Sweden is shite...i think at least. Nice odds

Lowest Scoring Team
Denmark +500
i think ireland can score vs Italy and Croatia and Denmark can score against most sides but Germany, Holland and Portugal can control play and limit scoring chances. With all 3 teams knowing they need to win vs Denmark I think we will see a bunch of 1-0 2-0 games. Tempting to take england lowest scoring at +2200 because no Rooney could be 3 games and out and they do struggle to score in real games.

Club Scoring Match Bet (bet365)
liverpool v everton
carroll v Jelavic
Jelavic -138 - caroll scores 0 of course so push is the worst case scenerio. I'd rather a different Croat player but that's what was offered.

Chelsea v Tottenham
Torres v Pogrebnyak
Pogrebnak +333
really? is torres even going to see any action? Russia could make a big move again in the EUROs and Pogrebnak is still one of their top players. Another push worst case to me.

Top Goal Scorer
RVP +900
i realize he is a club not country guy but playing for contract and maybe for one of the spainish sides....taking a dutch player might not be wise as they have multiple goal scorers but i need one Gunner bet.

Stage of Elimiation
Group Stage
France +138
Italy +125

Outright Winner
Russia +2500
Germany +300

all odds from bet365 so maybe better odds once i shop around. Small bets on all and smaller for longshot odds. Money is made on the day-2-day games and not these. Feel free to comment as i will be waiting til the last friendly befor betting

if you think france and sweden are shit wait'll you see ukraine and england ;)

like your jelavic bet. he's scored a few in limited appearances for croatia but hard to find a better form player outside of messi and ronaldo. Dude scored 10x in his last 10 games with everton

good luck w/van pussy...but like u said...he is a clubber not a national goal scorer...only thing you have going for you is that van marwijk just doesn't get it and play huntelaar up front w/van pussy...so van pussy will remain the lone threat up front...why he still plays his idiot son in law(who's time has passed him by)at midfielder is beyond me...let de jong play the cen def. middie role...why in the hell do you waste game after game with two of the same player in the same position?...keeps the likes of van der vaart and huntelaar off the pitch....two invaluable players...just rotting away...well done...i am sure we'll finish 2nd or third again...bastard

thanks for the input guys....i know RVP bet is dumb but if nederlands can make it to the finals again he should still have a few. I know he'd much rather pass the ball but was force to score for the gunners. He did have a crazy goalfest for arsenal which he never really had before so maybe that will finally carryover for country. He has grown quite a bit and started looking for goals instead of dumbing it off....if he can do that finally for country i'd say they'd be favoured over germany/spain. Most countries would take 2nd or 3rd but i will agree the dutch need to take that next step soon...that world cup final might have been the worst game i've ever seen....both clubs didn't seem to care what game they were playing.

i actually like england still....i do think caroll and crouch/defoe whomever is still a poor frontline but i still give a lot of cred to lampard and maybe for one last hurrah 'gulp' steven gerard. Hopefully the new manager sees alex ox chamberlain value more than Arsenal does...in any case i think it is an easy round robin group for them (if they find a keeper this year) and getting rooney back could help. I doubt they'll pass the group stage and will lose in the first quarters but if the ol' boyz and young guys can click i could see a mini-shock and semi-final/finalist.

i think we are 9 days away and my house is no longer under threat of a massive fire so life is good again,
I have to no country in the euros so i'll probably root for russia and the money (sucked it today mind you) -

oh - i was in algonquin park while rosters were named...i assumed dafoe/crouch would get picked just because they always do for some reason. Welbeck over crouch makes sense to me but why you'd want man u players are the team is beyond me. Funny Walcott beat out Lennon this time....guess lesson learnt there...haha....
