Greetings,

For UEFA play, staying withing the confines of my madness as follows:

(<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:date Month="12" Day="13" Year="2006">Wednesday, December 13, 2006</st1:date>)<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Celta at PALERMO – Despite their 3-0 win at home against Livorno, Palermo did not play all that well. One thing is certain; on the counter attack they utilize speed at the flanks, and make the most of their opportunity. Fact that this match is in Palermo, will reinforce the potential for an entertaining match. Guidolin has already stated that he intends to make every effort to win this match, and will field is standard Serie A line-up. I am looking for the “Palermo Bombers” to display their offensive flair on home turf.
The play: Palermo -0.5 +113 (3.5 units)
Palermo over 2.5 +117 (4.5 units)

(<st1:date Month="12" Day="14" Year="2006">Thursday, December 14, 2006</st1:date>)
Livorno at AJ AUXERRESLivorno struggling. Doubt they make any effort here as they will concentrate on Serie A issues. Scoreless in their last 2 matches, and surging Lazio coming to town (yummy), very much doubt that they will find their scoring touch against the French side, let alone come up with the victory (needless to say, only one side with something to play for in this match, AJ AUXERRES). I hope that they will take full advantage of uninspired Livorno.
The play: Auxerres -0.5 -105 (6 units)

Osasuna at PARMA – It goes without saying that this is a meaningless match to Parma, as qualification is already on the horizon. Despite improved defensive play of late in Serie A, Parma has gone scoreless in their last 4 four matches. The four point penalty reduction to Reggina has closed the gap between these two clubs, and you can bank that the concentrated efforts of Parma will be on salvaging the Serie A season. It would not surprise me, if they use this game to experiment with new offensive schemes, as an attempt to workout their offensive woes. If that approach is taken (as I think), the defense is exposed for a defensive letdown. As I am not asked to deal with 2.5 goals, the play is as follow:
Parma over 2 -112 (4.5 units)

Palermo 1 Celta 1
The play: Palermo -0.5 +113 (3.5 units) (loss -3.5 units)
Palermo over 2.5 +117 (4.5 units) (loss -4.5 units)
Analysis and quantification of weather patterns is considerably
simpler than understanding the Jeckill & Hyde behaviour of Palermo.
1-1? (this is one score I would not have envisioned)
