Could be wrong but I think Ferguson is Woodley 2.0, all the signs there that he's washed. Lost 8 straight rds, got hit plenty vs Cowboy/Pettis who were past their prime before that, he's 37 which is really old for 155 with a ton of wear and tear on him.

I just don't see him turning that around, maybe 5 rds I'd give him a better chance since his cardio is otherworldly but going w/ Dariush -155

If you think that Darius +480 by sub and +600 by TKO DQ or KO seems good
Ferguson fights have been finished 9 of last 11 and Dariush 10 of last 12.
Of course most of those were not as evenly matched. But the prices are pretty sick for some sort of Dariush finish

Your assessment on Ferguson may be spot on. I’m a big Dariush fan, but I couldn’t pass up the +155. If Ferguson has anything left I think this should be a war and end up being quite close. I don’t have the best track record of knowing when to jump ship on a fighter whose going downhill fast, shit I bet Woodley v Luque. A friend of mine is a real sharp MMA bettor and he unloaded on Dariush earlier in the week for many of the reasons you suggested above.

I’m sure we’ll see some dreadful decision being in Texas, let’s hope we can get on the right side of that.

Best of luck with your action this weekend.

If I do something other than -155, it would probably be Dariush by decision. It is only 3 rounds and if Gaethje couldn't finish Ferguson then I'm not sure Dariush can. He'll probably just hit him clean like 90 times or something. But don't really have a feel for that.

Don't have much of a feel for the ME either. I always thought if/when Chandler left Bellator and went to UFC that I'd bet against him (USADA being 1 of the reasons) but now that he's here, I can easily see him beating Chucky Olives.

And obviously I think Ferguson would murder Dariush in his prime (although I have legitimate questions as to how good he ever was, if you look at his resume he caught a lot of people at the right time...i.e RDA off that brutal weight cut last fight at 155, Kevin Lee with staph infection) but he's looked pretty horrible for awhile now.

Dariush May be one of if not the biggest underrated fighters in the whole UFC. He has 20 pro fights, all in the UFC, and is on a 7 fight win streak. He has some bad losses, all KO’s early in his career to some fighters who’ve fizzled out, but he’s done nothing but continually improve, and he’s game as fuck to fight anybody...

Sad to see Ferguson get mauled 3 straight. He should retire. He could beat the average guys but is gonna lose to the elite in the division.

If Poirier wins he is gonna get a title shot. Dariush just needs 1 more win. Hey, as far as I am concerned since Poirier took the Conor fight over the belt, just give the title shot to Dariush since the belt isn't the number 1 option for Poirier

I believe White mentioned winner of Oliveria-Chandler was going to fight winner of Poirier-McGregor 3. Seen some rumblings suggesting Dariush-Chandler could be on tap. Where does Gaethje fit into all this? I haven’t heard shit about him.

yeah just a weird situation, guy won 12 in a row so couldn't be discounted too much after 2 L's to top guys but he was clearly pretty shot

don't see too many setups where a guy is gonna be +250 vs the arguable best ever (obviously wrong line perception wise) and then 12 months later is drawing dead vs anyone in the top 10
