Good luck and enjoy the fights!

I like Sterling in this fight as well. There's was time when I thought he wasn't that good, and i really didn't care for his character, either. I actually like the guy now, think he's grown and matured over the years, and it may be his time to shine. IDK if i see him or Petr is the type of Champion to hold the belt for a long time, though...

If Sterling can get inside and not get hit with good punches, I think it could be a very long night for Yan, or short for the matter getting subbed like Sandhagen. I just see Sterling having an easier route to victory than Yan, who's good, but not great yet, IMO. I know I could be proven wrong quickly, however, as the one thing that concerns me about Sterling is he hasn't fought in 9 months, and now it's the biggest stage of them all, a 5 rounder, but he should be roll ready at this point in his career to handle anything...

Continued to success to us...

I’m in the same boat with Sterling, wasn’t a big fan, but he really showed me something with this run he’s on. Sandhagen, Munhoz, Rivera, Stamann is a murderer’s row of talent and he dominated. I think he will win tonight and may be able to hold the belt for a bit. He’s a huge bantamweight and can control people with his ground game. Yan is tough, no doubt, but I don’t see him stopping Sterling’s assault. I think Yan is crafty enough to avoid the sub, but I’m struggling to see how he doesn’t get outpointed. He’s a great striker, but he’s more volume than power and I expect him to be on his back a lot tonight.

Should be a fantastic card tonight, can’t wait. Also pulling for my local guy Brady, have a few buddies who’ve trained with him and were blown away by his strength. He’s one to keep an eye on I think.

Enjoy the fights and best of luck tonight.

I love Sean Brady, called him a Top 5 prospect several years ago. He beat a guy I've trained with over the years (knew he would), Tanner Saraceno, on his way to the CFFC title...

Only concern for me on Brady is that he seems to gas a tad, could be expected to how strong he is, and how much muscle he carries, however, he looked a tad smaller in that department at weigh-ins this time around to me. Will probably be back by tonight. He should absolutely smash Matthews, and as long as he stays composed, he should, easily...

I'm torn on some other picks you have posted because the line screams opposite to me and i just have this feeling, IDK...

I could see Benavidez upsetting Askarov, and if he gets his wrestling going and doesn't gas, I think he will. If not, he'll call it quits or I could see him moving to another organization...

I like the Bontorin, and Dober plays.

I grabbed Askarov earlier in the week and I’ve been liking the play less and less by the day and then he misses weight. Dober is another guy I never cared for, but since he moved over to Elevation he’s a completely different fighter. I really think he’s knocking Islam out tonight. Islam is a beast, but I think he’s going to run into a buzzsaw tonight, plus he hasn’t fought in like 18 months. I was surprised Bontorin was the dog, he’s a slick fighter and France is a bit overrated IMO.

Khabib Nurmagomedov was watching the fight live and he confirmed that when Aljamain Sterling was down, Petr Yan asked his corner on Russian if it was okay to kick the head. His corner said yes.

I heard punch, punch, which is legal. Translation or communication error? Maybe, but the guys from ATT are well versed and know way better than to throw an illegal knee there. Curious to see what ATT and Petr says. This was his first fight outta that camp, so it’ll be interesting...

As for Petr, he showed no remorse or anything, didn’t really care for him before, and definitely don’t know. Uber douche. Didn’t seem to care, at all...

Guess Sterling should get Sandhagen. Feed Petr to Munhoz. Fuck TJ coming back and getting these guys from the start...

I had Yan, good times. Didn't think Sterling's pace would bother him much since he's such a superior striker. He was like -5000 live.

Oh well, rematch Yan will be over -200 so that ship has sailed.

That may be the worst beat I've ever taken.

-5000 where? He was losing on one scorecard and only ahead by one round on the other 2 when it was stopped, so had it continued, it would’ve been a majority draw at the current time. No fucking way it was -5000 in the 4th, and you’d have to be smart money follower to bet or even believe that garbage (not saying it wasn’t, but it’s completely off base if it was...). The -200 is more like it, and I don’t even know if you’ll get that in the rematch, -125 to -150, with a rise to -180 seems about right, but gimme as much plus money as possible, I’ll take Sterling...

That would’ve been a 2 point deduction had it continued, actually, Weird, but it’s true...

The stoppage was completely the right call, though...

Hopefully they can run it back by August-September at the latest, it’ll be interesting...

TJ vs Yan for title shot
I assume Sterling is out for 6 months?
Gotta make TJ win at least 1 big fight for a shot
But no one in the divisions right now is more interesting as long as TJ gets a big win before the shot

Sandhagen is more deserving than TJ, but yea, unfortunately, TJ will get boasted to the top upon his return. There really isn’t much out there, Pedro Munhoz, who already got beat by Sterling, but I feel is tough enough and a solid enough puncher to give Yan a huge challenge...But, truthfully, nobody wants to see that fight, but me...

I believe they booked Sandhagen v TJ this weekend. I don’t think they announced the date yet, but they will be squaring off in the near future.

They are, which kinda sucks, considering they’re calling it a number one contender fight, when the winner will probably have to wait 6-9 months to fight. Probably be December. I mean the Yan vs Sterling fight is likely to not even happen until August...

Personally would love to see Sandhagen smash TJ...

Obviously the live lines doesn't know that someone would have Sterling winning on a card, since that was laughable. And I'm talking -5000 before the knee so not surewhy you are talking majority draw. Obviously once he slams a knee into his dome when he is grounded, the odds would drastically change even if it wasn't stopped.

There is a screenshot I found on twitter of -10000 from DK, I saw -5000 on Nitro mid 4th rd. If he doesn't throw that knee, he's still on his way to being up 3-1 on 2 cards and Sterling was gassed for the 5th anyway. Chances Sterling wins right before the knee were slim to none. But again, books making live lines don't know judges had Sterling up on a card. Not like it mattered much in the grand scheme of things.

Obviously it isn't that far off.....Doubt you will find many that thought Aljo was over 5-7% to win that fight right before that knee happened.

Yan was obviously a massive fav at that point before he lost his fuckin' mind is the point. Oh well..

But I digress (site glitched meant to make this 1 post, not sure what is going on?), just came in to post about it because that is most tilted I've been betting in awhile.

I like Ngannou in a few weeks though. Stipe had 2 battles and a KO vs DC in the time between their last fight which was over 3 years ago. Getting older, Ngannou hasn't done much but KO people since then besides the Lewis fiasco. Think he gets it done this time. Think he beats Jones too if it happens so hopefully it will.

lol Jones lose to Stipe, Ngannou, Mark Hunt, Big Country Nelson, everyone on the Bellator roster, Mark Coleman, he isn't a true light heavyweight, DC woulda, coulda, shoulda

Not to bring crassness to the thread but Jones had to have fucked that guys girl or something. No way could I care about hating on an athlete for a solid decade on an internet message board.

Line has dropped like a mother fucker
Started at like 2-1
Now it is -136

Also interesting that Woodley is such a big dog to a striker
