I have a bit more time to focus on other sports with the winding down of the NFL and conclusion of CFB. That extra time allowed me to put together a whopping 0-3 slate for the FA Cup this past weekend, so who knows.
I'm down a few units this season in soccer and hoping to get back in the black in the coming weeks.
1.0 Liverpool +215
I’m expecting a solid effort from The Reds today following their abysmal showing in the FA Cup versus Oldham Athletic. I’m not enthralled with the Gunners this year and this price seems a bit inflated in what should be a very evenly contested match.
I like the look of Liverpool since the Sturridge signing, save the FA Cup result, and think this squad could have a bit of a run in them to close the season. I’m expecting a tight, conservative match, which is why I’m also playing Under 2.5 (+120). I look for both sides to play close to the vest and attempt to not make the crucial mistake that puts the other side in front. The fourth spot and Champions League is the only attainable goal these two squads have left, I’m thinking tight 0-0 match with a late Liverpool winner for the 1-0 result.

1.0 West Ham/Fulham O 2.5 (-120)
Fulham have been sliding down the table and appear a bit lost defensively, IMO. West Ham has also been struggling and both squads have to believe this match has a reasonable expectation to take the three points. Unlike the Liverpool/Arsenal match, I expect an open attack from both sides which should lead to goals.
Fulham have been atrocious defensively of late, while The Hammers have been a bit stouter defensively, save for the Arsenal match. West Ham has been struggling to score goals, but that should be offset by Fulham’s inability to play defense. I’m thinking a 2-2 affair here with both squads pushing forward trying to secure the full three points.
