I wasn't ever going to bring this up again but a few posters and friends have asked so here's the wrap-up.

COIN absolutely KILLED Co-captain. Between July 15 and August 15 COIN (me flipping a coin) went 19W-14L, 6.60 units. During that same time, before he dropped off the face of the Rx earth (yeah, I know he's back now...but not in baseball you're notice), Co-captain was 43-37=+12.69. Without his 3-0, 10.60 unit All-Star game night, he was 40-37 +2.09...but hey, I said I'd add in the All-start game, so I did. Coco himself came into the thread often to check the results and even corrected me and reminded me to add the All-Star game figures once when I forgot so he was absolutely tracking the contest.

Then the roof fell in on poor Coco. On July 22, his last day of posting plays in bases and the last plays he made before his "sudden" disappearance, he had the card below. I'm still lousy at calculating the results, so I never did, but it doesn't take a genius to know he fell way, WAY below COIN's total. I always got a laugh when people started asking, "Where's Coco, what happened to him? Why did he suddenly stop posting?" because I and a few others knew exactly why. After a terrible 1st half in bases, after taking on countless posters tired of his uncredited ego, after a fresh start in the second half, Coco finally, in one disastrous day, realized that he was going to lose a contest to a quarter. When that happened, even Coco, the mouth that roared, realized it was time to shut-up and disappear for a while.

So, to be clear, the contest ended at:

COIN -- 19W-14L, +6.60 units
Coco -- 43W-37L, +12.69 units (then subtract the card below)

NYM -- 300 -162 L
NYY -1.5 -- 300 +109 L
DET -- 300 -144 L
BOS -- 300 -135 L
TEX -- 300 -120 L
CLE -- 300 -101 L
STL -- 300 -112 W

STL Un/8 -- 200 -115 W
CLE Ov/8.5 -- 200 +103 L
CUB -- 200 -152 W
CUB Ov/8.5 -- 200 -102 W
PHI -- 200 -112 L
ATL -- 200 -168 W
NYM Ov/7 -- 200 -120 L

After all that, if you wanna know how he did for the year, add his 1st half total of 334W-332L, -69.18.

Better luck in football Coco. Try not to act like such an ass-hole and people won't give you soo much shit. If you send me you address, I'll send you the quarter I used during the contest. Maybe it could be of help in the future.

THE END

Fight? What fight? It was just a little contest between a loud mouth egomaniac and an inanimate object.
