EPIFANIO MENDOZA vs. Troy Rowland

I've seen Rowland fight once on ESPN and I thought that he looked like a
fagg ot. Seriously, I thought the guy had absolutely no power, was stiff, and had no punch. I've only seen him once but I remember thinking that this is a guy who I'd fade if fighting a decent fighter. I've never seen Mendoza fight and know nothing about him except that he beat Olajidae and has lost to a couple of no names. From his record he looks like a KO artist though 20-2 with 19ko's. I'm not much for paper capping but Im thinking my man Mendoza can probably knock this guy out. If he doesnt he better beat the hell out of him because its in Michigan.

Anybody have an opinion on this?

Allow me to chime in here on this one.

Epifanio Mendoza is a great banger. There is no doubt about that. He has tremedous heart. There is also no doubt about that. Boxing ability. None whatsoever.

I have won money off of Mendoza in the past. I first learned of him when he KO'd Olajide. Mendoza usually stays in shape. He has been put in with guys on short notice and has been successful. In his fight versus Rito Ruvalcaba, he demonstrated lots of will and desire to win.

I do not know if I have ever seen Rowland fight. But if he is anything like what you have suggested, then I think Mendoza is definitely worth a shot. He will give you your money's worth.

I only fear for Mendoza when he eventually steps into the ring with a guy that can box very well and has some power. With Mendoza's strategy, he usually gets winded early.

here it is in a nutshell.....if it goes to the cards,rowland.......if not,mendoza stops him.....tgood has it.....mendoza can`t box...rowland can`t punch......

rowland has a bit of a homecourt edge......

as far as the olajide stoppage,mendoza put him down early....olajide got up,but hurt his ankle on the way down and couldn`t continue..........if they ever fight again,i`m on olajide like fur on a bear......he`s 5 times better than mendoza....
