One of my first 500 posts here, asked in OffShore was: "what other forums are there?" and there was no SP or RR back then.
And shrink let it stand, he said something like "sure not a problem" he was the first to reply.
But the thread turned into a 3 page arguement between different posters, none of them mods and since there was no RR or SP it end up being deleted I believe.
That was such a long time ago :think2:
Having said all that, EGO is right. check out the SP forum. I'm glad it's there now, it was a landslide vote to bring it back.

i give you guys props for bringing it back. the rx is "the big" place, so it is charitable for you guys to allow people to promote, for free at that. There's a difference, imo, with me attempting to help my forum and some tout trying to get people to buy picks. (actually i tried the tout thing for about a month before i quit, hard for a honest capper to succeed as a tout)
i realized right away i was more comfortable being one the forums guys, sharing picks and info.
as long as we don't discuss politics, i consider us prety good buds, Rob. I'm glad you got a chance to be a mod here, you definately deserved it!!!!

Actually after reading some of your articles, I think you have a lot of opportunity in journalism. I'll be rooting for you. There's a lot of crappy guys like head NBA guy Mike Kahn at sportsline. It'd be good to see writers with more talent, such as yourself.
As far as politics, they are stail to me now anyways. I dont think there will be a lot to sink your teeth into until some seats are up for grabs in '06.

I just joined Ego's site this week and really like it. He has his own News section there that is top notch. He clearly spends a lot of time researching and analyzing his subjects. He will break stories before some of the mainstream media sport sites. Its almost like indymedia.org for sports.
