No power for a few hours. What a relief. All the power being generating is killing us. So what if we have no air conditioner, so what if the elderly start dying of heat stroke, so what if we have to wipe our asses with leaves. Toilet paper is not enviromentally friendly. So what if no business was conducted - the corporations should find other sources of energy. As long as were get our welfare check and get to grow the organic weed.

I'm sure the enviromental wackos in the areas that were affected shut their traps for a bit.

They complain about government intervention and Patriot Act BS yet they are doing exactly what Big Government wants them to. They don't understand that the Democratic point of view is to convince people that they are nothing and can do nothing without the government. This is turn will make the government even more powerful than they are now.
