I've got some friends in the airline indusrty and this war is really affecting them first hand !

These airlines are about to go broke folks ! There's NO $ comming from the govt either !

How can an airline keep in the air if they're losing 6million a DAY ?

A lot of people are going to be out of a job here if this thing drags on for months !

Do you really think George is worried about the airlines? But don't mess with his oil.

Bush is busy liberating the Iraqis or catching Al Queda or ridding Saddam of WMD - ahh, who knows, I can't remember what this war is about because it changes every day.

THe war should be over within a week - it's time for them to give up - they simply are overmatched.

You will win the war soon, dont worry.

But the peace might be an even bigger challenge.

Highjackings, planes crashing into buildings are great for business. Maybe throw a Nuke going off in NYC would be a great marketing tool.

if you would open your eyes, and perhaps, learn a few things prior to speaking you wouldn't come off as so ignorant.

#1 the airline industry (other than southwest --we'll touch on that later) has been on the verge on bankruptcy long before this war.

#2 they are going bankrupt, for a host of reasons, but principally their outlandish labor costs.

#3 the airlines never really recovered from the TERRORRIST attacks of sept 11. thus, let's rid ourselves of terrorrism -- thus, one of the reasons for our current war.

#4 and a funny thing happened after 9/11 -- EVERY airline laid off scores of people in an attempt to avoid going under, but the funny thing is southwest DIDN'T! not a soul. in fact, they are not only not near bankruptcy, they are thriving as best considering the current enviroment. and why? because they control labor costs!

#5 the airline were struggling back before 9/11, once again, primarily, because of mismanagement and high labor costs.

instead of just speaking in misguided generalities (bush oil) maybe it would suit you best not to speak.

first Iraq, then France

You might as well kiss the U.S. tourist industry good bye. Because of your pro war stance the majority of people that live in peaceful countries (the rest of the world) don't want to visit .

There's no proof that Saddam had anything to do with the Trade Center, if anything it appears Saddam and Bin Laden are enemies.

This war is making us even less popular to despised internationally. You hear things like "I'd like to shoot a missle at Bush" even in peaceful countries like Costa Rica.

Oh yeah this is really going to reduce the threat of terrorism.

Damn this silly arguement is getting old.

Well, the first set of the looney lefts talking points proved to be ficticious...so now some more new but not improved bullshit. I will be making my list shortly of all the things that were supposed to be disasters that did not come even close to being true.

Patriot,

Come on man take an English class or something for Christ's sake!!!

I'm not saying (on this post) that attacking Iraq makes more terrorist attacks automatic, I'm saying it does nothing to decrease the risk.
