From : TheRx news@statfox.com
Subject: Breaking down the CFB and NFL schedules

Then there was various spam and advertising inside...

I want to their unsubscribe thing and I'm on "TheRx" mailing list. Never signed up for anything at statfox or even been there in forever nor given them my email.

Anyone else get this?

I mean I get spam alot so it's not a big deal, but it's sort of lame coming from places I know.

I unsubscribed. Had to give them my email so they could create an account and password for me because I've never had an account with them.

As I said, it's not a big deal. I'm just wondering why I'm getting subscribed with shit from the Rx.

For the record

Anyone who registered at The Rx.com prior to June of 2005 is liable to be on several email lists that were sold to various sites around the internet by the previous management. All posters who have registered since then have only been placed on The Rx.com Newsletter email list and nothing else. Please remember if you use the same email address you registered here with (no matter what date) at other websites The Rx.com cannot be responsible for that email address being sold or passed along free to other websites.

TheRx.com does not sell any of it's email addresses and only uses them to contact posters with Rx.com business or passing along messages from other posters when requested. We do not disclose confidential poster email addys without their permission.

Thanks, wilheim..

Word.

You're probably correct. I hadn't received one since the initial thread when the former moderators did it which is why I was curious. However, of course they would still have my email. It's early in the morning for me, need coffee.

I enjoyed reading what they had to say. Pretty much getting you up to date for the NFL season.

Likewise I welcome offers/ e-mails from RX sponsors or whatever they feel I may have interest in, always like a good offer here.

These go in my spam folder. I just click on the link "delete all spam messages now" and they're gone. In fact, it took me longer to type this message than it did to get rid of the spam.
