Firstly, i knew in the back of my mind that todays card was a total piece of shit! I said it on sunday! but i didnt listen to myself.
And then i doubly fuck shit up by totally refusing to pay homage to homecourt advantage, which i have told every one in this thread is a freakin killer beast in the WNBA!!! I knew this shit and still refused to follow it. I some how thought that one way or another, the better team has to win.
No one here can argue that the Mystics are a better team than Indiana. (well they won the fucking game coming back down a gazillion points..)
I had that money pretty much counted and spent in my mind!!
Then the comets? Are you kidding me? How are you gonna melt down like that against a team with zero rebounding power over you??
But thats the WNBA..
And this is a freakin martingale thread!!! Losses are expected. So friggin man up and double up for the next play!!!

Ok fellas...Now that i have calmed down quite a bit..(thanks Storm for salvaging the day and chalking up their second road win for the season!!:aktion033) I have thought about last night and have managed to put things in perspective. After my whinning about failing to pray to the lord of the home court, it turned out that only two of the 5 home teams covered the spread..:nohead: Even though 4 out of 5 won... What i really hated was the Indiana vs Washington game where the refs simply stopped calling fouls in favor of the fever. But i am not here to cry and bitch and moan about this. Truth is, a good capper must always factor this in. (dont ask me how..if i knew this well i would be in bed right now getting blown by 5 16 year old highschool girls...:shocked

Back to Houston+8 vs Sparks. I am of the opinion that LA is simply a team of bigs that have skated by, beating up on teams they simply tower over and dominate on the boards.
With the rise of Sancho little at houston and the return of Tina Thompson, i think the comets have balanced this board power and should be able to give the lakers a run for their money tonight. (you should consider betting them on the ml as well. I am showing it at +290)
Two things concern me about the comets. firstly, they played a game yesterday..Albeit a noon game, it was a hard running phoenix team that beat them. That team wears you out.
Secondly Houston, just like the Sparks always get tired in the second half. They just dont put in enough effort. But i like the youth and bench of Houston better than that of the sparks. This is why i will be retaining my original bet at houston +8.5 (bet it last night as posted in this thread). Line has dropped to 7.5 but i stil think it holds great value. That is simply too many points for a Sparks team that was dominated by this comets squad a year a go.
My opinion on the Atl Dream? Well i believe they are a bet at +12. Even a credible buy on the ML. Dont laugh bro. If the Dream manage to keep this close in the first two quarters, they may have a chance to beat them out right. Dream always have a disastrously low scoring quarter that puts games out of reach for them. Throw this one quarter out of some of their games and they are right there in some of them.

sorry man.. after posting my little party, i had to get me a drink because i still cant believe my Dream girls pulled out a huge freakin win for me.
I like Houston. But i gamble methodically. If i rip up a book on a night like tonight, i normally fold my positions and leave myself exposed very little.
Only have small amount left on Houston. With a still significant amount on the Under for for the game. If things go south, i think i will have chance to bail out..
