CLAYTON • A man has been accused in court here of sexual contact with a 4-year-old girl that left her with sexually transmitted diseases, officials said.
James M. Davis, 19, of East St. Louis, was charged with first-degree statutory rape. According to the arrest warrant, the girl was victimized in a St. Louis County apartment between October 2009 and January 2010.
The girl tested positive for gonorrhea and chlamydia, officials said.
