I think this game is gonna be a good game between italy vs holland. I see italy stealing it 1-0 or 2-1.. Holland is with out their best scorer for this game van persie... Holland is not a team to sleep on but italy is still hungry to be champs of the world again.. There team is too talented to be plus in the first game take italy big im putting all my money FORZA ITALIA

the italians are very seasoned at the back but i think it may be a slight problem for them. i think the youth and speed of the dutch with VV/sneijder may pose a problem for the 30 year old italian centerbacks. but i too give the edge to the italian knights because they are absolutely unphased. should be a great game to watch fellas

is it me or am i the only one who thinks italy is just old...they dont have it this summer im sorry. Pirlo will have to carry them and i dont see enough depth if he cant. plus no cannavaro in the back...not liking them

They actually have a ton of depth and many options relative to formations. De Rossi and Aquilani are studs in midfield and there are a lot of combinations they could play with their MF/F 6 players. Toni had something like 36 goals in 42 games for Bayern this year. They won I think it was 9 of their final 10 games in Euro qualifying and qualified first out of the toughest group. They are old (though not materially older than the French), but they have a lot of options to change things up. I realize it was only Belgium, but they looked fantastic in their final friendly. Could have easily been up 6-0 after 50 minutes, DiNatale and Camoranesi were absolutely destroying the wings.

Cannavaro being out concerns me if mainly b/c it means Materazzi will likely see action.

I am backing Italy to reach the final as well as winning the title.They have great depth,experienced players and motivation to hold the WC title and add the Euro title at same time.in light of the relative weakness Italian teams demonstrated this season in Champions league,i think their top players have extra incentive to prove they are still at the top.Tony in great shape and i believe they can get the job done,not sure if with attractive game or not but they will get what they need imo till the end.

I like the Czechs too..remember they beat Germany 3-0 in Germany..not long ago,the potential is there,but not sure how good is their lineup for that tourney since read some were not long ago either n bad form or injured.

I think that the most common bets...over Germany,Spain,France,Portugal will all end in the trash bin eventually.

Rojiscky is out for them and he is there best player, Baros and Koller r both good internal players but can not do much without there best player getting them the ball. Cech will keep them in games if he doesn't come to play czech will be lucky to win a game

I said Czechs potential is there if everyone were fit and in good form,not backing them since no good news about their line up and current shape.

i played the under a few days ago at 2.5 -170
heavy juice but i like my chances

Im gonna go against my word here. I was doing a little research and the under of the italy game looks alittle iffy. The dutch have horrible defense and if italy runs a 4-3-3 they can possibly score two or more goals against the defense. but this is only my opinion

Dutch defense is very shaky, as are their midfield. I see a minimum of 2 goals scored. What's the O/U you're looking at.. 2 1/2?

I like Portugal over Turkey. Not betting on the Swiss/Czech game, but I like the prop on bodog of the Swiss to win or draw.

Without Rosicky the Czechs really have little chance, Koller is not the beast he used to be and Milan Baros is not in good form ad to that Nedved and Poborsky saying goodbye and you have a team that will end in last place in the group...the Swiss win this one with ease 2-0.

I believe Portugal and Turkey is a very dangerous match, Portugal usually start slow just like Italy, remember they lost their first match in the last Euro against Greece, Turkey has a new set of young stars who can surprise any team, i still think Portugal will win but i would not be surprised if it ended in a draw....1-1 maybe.
