...and then when it does, he says we'd like to suggest the following actions because we really don't have the authority to supersede the Governor's orders :ohno:

Seriously, you can't make this shit up. In the meantime, deaths are averaging about 35% less than when we were locked down....go figure.

wasn't this the mayor who was out protesting without a mask and ignoring social distancing?

awesome...guess he will shut the city down for a couple months and force the governor to kick him to the curb. someone let him know he's got the worst homeless problem per capita that I've ever seen. It's fn disgusting...bums exposing themselves to women walking through public parks, squatters pulling food straight off of outside diner's plates, and others physically confronting citizens to give them money. If you've never been to Austin, don't go

So glad to be in Williamson County. Too many fucking idiot liberals in Austin.

Me too. It's amazing what a difference a county line makes. My first 1 1/2 years here, it was strictly Williamson (live and work). There was no political talk whatsoever. People generally very happy and laid back. The next 1 1/2 years, I'm working in Austin. Suddenly the temperament is completely changed. I can't say that it's quite as bad as San Francisco, but not far off. People bitching and moaning about politics on a daily basis. Homeless problems. Crime. Materialistic bullshit. And a pothead mayor that talks like he's been smoking dope since he was 5.
