That's probably true, but I'd still take Manziel. Manziel's ability to create plays, move the pocket, run, and his improved pocket passing beats Winston IMO. Winston clearly wins the leadership/maturity category though. Let this be a DISCUSSION and not an ARGUMENT

You are one of the few to actually back up opinions with links and stats. I admit Winston's freshman stats are better, but I just don't see the translation to the pro game, which is the crux of my argument. People have jumped on me for criticizing him... I am only criticizing his potential pro (and his off-the-field character). His college stats are great and he just won the BCS. Nothing to talk shit about there.

I'm not a huge fan of Jameis per say. I just think his stats have spoken for themselves. I actually lost a lot of money fading him this year because I thought he was a fraud. But he kept destroying every team. Then I finally bet on him, and I lose... I should hate him, lol. BOL man.

Tim Tebow was a much, much, much, much better CFB QB than Winston will ever be.

I believe Leak was the QB when Tebow was a Frosh. Tebow got spot playing time at best as a Freshman.

Lot of hating going on for a kid who just turned 20 today, a true freshman, Heisman Trophy winner, National Championship winner, and threw for 3800 yards and 38 tds. Dude will be in the NFL for sure. Probably a top 10 pick. He'll only get better.

Florida would not have made it to the bcs title game in 2006 without tebow, leak was the starter but tebow was huge for them that year. And he did have a td pass and td rushing in the title game.
