In an article in today's Philadelphia Daily News they wrote about Dr J's divorce and an upcoming article in Philadelphia Magazine. In
a related press release Allen Iverson is signing an extension for 4 years at $109 million. How much would Dr J earn today, about
25 million a year. Dr J's divorce will cost him
1/2 his net worth leaving him without about 5 million. He earns a million a year working for
Orlando Magic.

You would think Dr J would be worth more. He was the Jordan of his era. I'm not feeling sorry for him but when see what stiffs in the NBA make today you would hope he would be worth
more.

Dr. J's ability to affect the outcome of games is much less than Allen Iverson's and therefore his salary is much less. I say give more money to those who can directly improve your team's chance of winning. Give less to those who have lesser roles.

I would think that $1 million per year is a pretty good salary for a non-player role.
