I hate this Cubs team, really do. Looks like the Pirates have their number now, which surprises me some b/c the Cubs have owned the Pirates for a really long time. One thing that doesn't surprise me is when the Bucs come alive because they have some good talent, and much more to come from the minors. Anyways, it took two career days from Jones and McCLUTCHen and some major choke jobs by the Cubs to lose today. If you would have told me the Cubs score 6 runs I would have put 1/4 of my bankroll on them!!! At some point the Cubs have to explode and beat the Pirates, or at least squeak a win out from them. Anyone looking at this game tomorrow and if so who ya got, whatcha think???:think2:

You will get your money taking imo. DONT DO THIS>^<<^

Pirates 4-0 vs cubs this year. More than a reason for them to be able to win tomm.

It perplexes me that people bet the cubs. over the years there have been thousands of threads devoted to how they killed another bankroll. When do people learn?

people love the cubs and they are a big public fav no matter how bad they suck. the line is perception driven. the cubs are not a -200 or higher team. it would take a complete fool to bet on the cubs @ anything above -135. the cubs and the bulls are a bookies dream. no matter how bad they suck, people will still bet on them.

I'm a Pirates fan, just FYI, I could give two shiitts about any Chicago team, and I hate the Cubs, but I'm going to bet on who I think will win whether its the Cubs or not. The Cubs haven't hurt my bankroll over the years, but they have failed me a few times this year.

I think the inflated line has more to due with how bad Maholm looked in his last outing and how good Dempster looked last time he faced the Buccos. Also a day home game, Cubs lost 4 in a row this season to the Pirates, their due for a win. Highly doubt the Pirates score 10 runs tomorrow, or come close to duplicating that kind of production with their 3,4 hitters.

it makes little sense to pigeon-hole your betting on one team/upcoming game.

you can make any past Cubs losses back on another team's game tomorrow or the next day.

Just stay away from both Chicago teams.....

I concur with your reply.

I very seldom ever bet just one game, don't have that kind of control. This is just one game I figured to chat about, not pigeon-holing it, just contemplating it.

I'm glad to here their are some Cub haters out there though!

Since I'm a Florida Marlin fan (grew up there), I'll always have a special place for the Cubs in my heart. In particular, this Chigaco fan can always migrate to Miami since he robbed Alou (a former Marlin who helped win the 1st WS) on October 14, 2003.

The Cubs haven’t scored a run since Saturday and have managed only six hits in the last two games combined.
