Dont believe everything that you read. Maybe try reading up on occam's razor a little bit.
Until i see the logfiles of the servers when these ddos attacks occured, i will stick to the least amount of variables in a story. Something more believable like "someone hosed the database" or "a failed attempt to upgrade the vbulletin software". Not trying to be a pain in the ass, but I rarely believe anything I read until the proof is presented.
It is called logic.
Not saying that either. I am saying i will believe it when i see the the server logs. Until then i will stick to the scenario i believe it most likely what happened.
Regardless, comments like yours enticing these so called "attackers" doesnt help therx in any way. So because your antagonistic post wasnt deleted by mods, i believe the ddos story less.
people that do attacks like these are not people you want to antagonize.

Personally I feel badly for the large group of small to medium post up players that enjoy this site every night (there were 4,000 online a few minutes ago) and use The Rx to help make decisions on what team to bet their in many cases $25 or $50 on.
They are the ones, who even though innocent, that are being punished by these waste of time attacks. The outfit that is actually flooding our bandwith with crap every night should be ashamed of itself.
