well in all honesty unless a player is in contention for pitt, uab, or of course bama i don't know every player in the nation

i'm more than happy that you guys flipped SEC west kids...the less competition for bama, the better. LSU had 3 or 4 guys flip yesterday so that's a good thing for me since they went to b12 or acc schools.

can't really say i follow aTm recruiting too religiously however :)

btw, i don't really see why kansas or ksu would be any different than say, kentucky. and certainly nobody is jumping toward vandy anytime soon. we can all make excuses i was just pointing out that when you are allowing your best players to leave the state, that is not a good sign especially when you have limited prospects in a 200 mile radius. seems pretty fucking logical from where i sit.

obviously you are waving the B12 flag like you're the commissioner so enjoy that
Obviously you are waving thre S-E-C flag. So carry on with your circle jerk. I'm outta here...

and you will probably close the final 5-star on the board, Demetris Robertson, who will decide the weekend of 2/13. Love to see him in crimson but don't think that will happen...

Would be nice, but I have a feeling he ends up at ND.

problem is...

#1 player in MO went to Wisconsin (and 8 of top 10 signed outside of Big12)
#1 player in TX went to Ole Miss (and 9 of top 15 went outside of Big12)
3 of top 4 players in KS went to Clemson or Wisconsin
top 5 players in IA went to SEC or Big10
4 of top 10 in OK went outside of Big12

vs

In AL the top 11 players in the state stayed in SEC
in GA 10 of top 12 (1 uncommitted) players in state stayed in SEC
in AR top 5 players stayed in SEC
in MS top 7 stayed in SEC and 13 of top 15
in LA 14 of top 17 stayed in SEC

A big problem indeed..........for the other schools. There's a reason these recruits "stay home" which should be obvious to anyone that follows college football today.

Missouri only had 3 of its top 15 players sign with Missouri.

The Tigers' class ranked 51st nationally and 13th in the SEC.

If a school wants to be successful, they better own their on state.

One coach said the hell with recruiting out of state. SMU's Chad Morris says he can get everywhere he needs to be recruiting in his car, and that showed as all 25 recruits came from the state of Texas.

Of course a state as big as Texas with the number of quality players allows SMU to do that.

Texas is the second most populous state in the Nation .....Behind California only....I know I'm from the "old school" but I've always appreciated athletes "staying home" to play their game.

Old School...me to Mack.

Great head coaches with great staffs recruit year in and year out. No reason ANY OTHER head coach and staff can't recruit
using the same standards. Eleven months a year its football...do your job....recruit....coach players up...and WIN.

AIN't a lot of staffs willing to sacrifice the work necessary for consistent success. They get SOFT and LAZY!
