French Products and Companies to Boycott

Dozens of readers have written in asking for a list of French companies products to boycott. After all, some are well known, but many are not. Here goes.

The gang at FrogWeenies (www.metrospy.com) notes: "France's behavior in front of the UN has been disgraceful. Their attempts to block, veto and prevent the US lead military action in Iraq does not promote peace, it simply reinforces the will of tyrants and terrorists."

It lists French products to boycott. You will probably be surprised to learn the French own everything from Wild Turkey to Car & Driver to Motel 6 to cheesy Spencer Gifts to disgusting Democrat schlock-show host Jerry Springer.

P.S.: Thanks to GOP lawmakers, cafeterias in the U.S. House of Representatives will today start offering "freedom fries" instead of you know what.

who gives a shit, radio? I could care less if they wish to boycott us.

Wil: I've said all along I don't give a flying **** if anyone else does it - it's enough for me. Chattering Chirac huffed and puffed today, and from all the French bullshit I'm now pretty much convinced they're a hell of a lot more in bed with Saddam in the past then I would ever have believed. It'll be interesting when the truth comes out, which of course I'm sure the good opposition here will ridicule as made-up propaganda.

the expression is: I couldn't care less. COULDN'T!

a boycott of US products will cause a downshift in economic production. Just an observation.

It's Working: France Wineries Reeling Under Boycott

French wineries are withering as millions of Americans have begun a boycott of French wine and other French goods, the New York Times reported Thursday. The Times report, "A Most Unsettling Time for French Wineries,” appeared on the cover of the World Business section of the paper.

The paper reports: "So the threat of a boycott of French wines by Americans annoyed at the French position on Iraq is hard to take. And it could not come at a worse time for a struggling industry. Last year was a good year, but over all the industry is under siege.”

More: "[O]ne of the biggest Bordeaux wine merchants has faxed copies of The New York Post on his desk, sent by an American friend, with photos of French wines next to California and Australian wines, under the headline ‘Just Say Non.’ Over the non-French wines is printed ‘Oui’; over the French wines ‘Non.’”

The boyctott of French goods comes on the heels of France’s effort to lead a worldwide coalition of nations to oppose the U.S. efforts to have the U.N. disarm Saddam Hussein’s Iraq.

Since the U.S. has led a military coalition to disarm Iraq, France has declared the action "illegal” and continues to stand with Iraq.

NewsMax.com has been leading the campaign to boycott French goods. Find out how you can join the boycott – Click Here Now.
