Tried to send you a PM. It wont allow. What kinds of stuff did you see happen to the guys who got in too deep? And also, good advice.

You can try that PM again if you want; I messed with the settings and should go thru. If you're dealing with connected street books, you can figure out the kind of thing I'm referring to. Don't really want to detail anything like that in public, even though it was long ago.

Kid ive been there before and it sucks. You toss and turn night after night and it is just flat out miserable. The first thing i would say is if that you let it ride on 1 game, do you have the bankroll to cover the bet if you lose? IF not, then i would pay and try to claw my way back in in during bowl season. If you do have the bankroll dont try to force something just on this weeks games. Plenty left. If i were in your situation AND had the bankroll to cover i would play the Kansas State Wildcats at home + 6 1/2 this Saturday. W Va has an extremely weak D and an average O. Kansas St should control the clock with there qb and running game. The second reason why i would play Kansas St is because this very well may be Bill Snyder's last year. A college football icon. A win Saturday will give Kansas st a bowl birth qualifying with 6 wins. Good luck with your decision.

pay that man his money

Glorious line delivered by Teddy KGB. But that line would have never been said if Mike McDermott didn't decide to play heads up with Teddy KGB when he owed 15 grand. Mike could have gone to Teddy with the 10 grand from Professor Petrovsky and said I have 10 to pay you now, can we setup a payment plan for the rest. No, he said I have 10 grand and I'm looking for a game!

Take the Green Bay Packers -3 at Detroit tomorrow night on NFL Network. Season is on the line, the champ is on the ropes, and Aaron Rodgers will respond like Muhammad Ali in The Rumble in the Jungle! Don't show hesitation. If you are going to hesitate, just pay the money. But if you are in this game to be a true champion degenerate, then pull the trigger and don't look back. You got this!

Don't double down - pay some down and get back in the game smartly. Just cause football season is winding down doesnt mean you have to force it. Some times you just have losing seasons. I've been where you've been. It's miserable, but relief will come when you start to square. If you decide to double down....you won't like the place your going to end up. Just the mental anguish of not knowing what will happen or how you will square, is fn brutal.

I've been playing longer than most everyone here. A long long time ago, I was in your position and wasn't looking forward to meeting my guy without the money. I owed about $500 which was a lot of money back then, in the 70's. I was lucky my local was an independent, so I knew my knee cap was going to stay in one piece. Unlike you, I only had about half of what I owed. My guy was smart enough to know that if I gave him half and he let me pay the rest a little at a time while letting me keep playing at a greatly reduced limit, over time he would make more money from me than the other half that I couldn't pay right then. I was able to have some action and over the next couple of months I was able to pay him back everything I owed. He raised my limit back but I made it a point not to bet that much unless I had the money to pay. I was lucky in that I learned a valuable lesson and never was back in that position again.

Reading thru this thread, you see most of the posts are telling you what to do about paying what you owe and are not telling you who to bet big on to win back what you owe. We all know if you feel bad now, you will feel a lot worse if you try to win it back with one bet and lose. Talk to you local. Be honest with him and if he is smart and you have been a long term customer who always paid in the past, he will work out a payment plan with you and might even let you play for smaller amounts until he is paid back.

Most everyone here really cares about each other and don't like seeing anyone in your position. That's why most of us are telling you don't be stupid and try to win back what you owe with one bet. Most locals these days are independents and reasonable. Talk to him, and if he is smart and lets you just pay half now, you will feel much better.

This is not personal kid31, but I will never understand why guys still use locals instead of playing on line. Most big online books give you bonus or Bonus Play money when you make a deposit but most important if you play online you will never owe more than you can pay back because you don't play on credit. You can only bet the money that is in your account.

I hope you do the right thing and that your local lets you have a payment plan.

this sounds like so many who have come and gone, its a very bad situation to go south and then go into hiding and not pay, i would pay him and walk, no hesitation .. but if you must bet then pay him first. real dee c loves the seahawks and he tells me the steelers too. i always bet what i can afford but ive been doing this a long time and i know when to lay up and when to put the pedal to the metal and go full metal jacket. also if you can find someone who loses all the time just go the other way of those picks or for that matter fade yourself just sayin good luck and hopefully you dont get your legs broken or worse killed. jil face)(*^%

Had Packers ready to go on the ML -155; backed out last second. I think I have the play I'm going with this weekend though.

All good! You will get em this weekend. What is the play? I will root for you and bet a bit myself.

Are you not going to share your pick with us? After all these posts and discussion, I think it's only right you post your pick before the game starts.
