So get your friends dealer to be your new dealer. Or quit doing drugs. Problem solved.

My 'guy' won't even leave the house.

Any dealer that delivers is begging for a 10 year stint in the grey bar hotel.

He does not like to and hits me p for gas money some times, but fuck that, he lives in a place that has more cops patrolling it than are at the main police station at any given moment....

You drive down his road for one of two reasons, to get blow or get blown....

most pro midlevel dealers have runners that deliver for them if buying decent quantity. on the other hand i know a guy that will deliver a $5 blunt 24 hrs a day literally in 15 minutes or less to your mailbox

i watched a guy ride around with 4-5 oz of powder on him making deliveries for about 2 yrs before he got caught.he did get caught a couple months ago and i,um, dont talk to him much anymore but supposedly hes getting the charges dropped for illegal search. when he got pulled over he got out of his car and locked his keys inside and then they couldnt search inside the locked vehicle without a warrant or some shit - does that sound legit in the legal world? or are the charges really gettng dropped because hes snitchin?

When I used to do drugs my dealer delivered but I preferred to pick them up. I hate to wait. I won't even order pizza delivered because some dumb fuck of a delivery person will always get lost or take a few side trips and my pizza will get cold.

IF...and only IF

1) He was pulled over for a supposed traffic violation

and

2) His car tags, inspection sticker and license were legal and up to date

and

3) He had no wants or warrants for his arrest

Then the police cannot search your vehicle without your consent or unless they have Probable Cause to believe a crime is being commited.

In the case of your friend's supposed scene ("delivering blow") PC could be established if they could see cocaine in plain view when looking into the vehicle or if they had a reliable informant who testified that dude had product on him.

====
There's no need to "lock your keys in your car". But it is smart business to lock your car (power locks rock steady) as you step from the vehicle and then just drop your keys into your pocket.

If you have met the conditions I wrote above, you are not required to open your vehicle nor permit a search.

NEVER physically resist a search, even if you are in the right. But at the same time, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER consent to a search of your person, your vehicle or your residence.

Police have the right to do a "pat down" of your person for the purpose of detecting a possible weapon. But they do not have the right to demand you empty your pockets or otherwise reveal what is on your person unless they have clear reason to believe you might be carrying a weapon.

barman, I wanna be very careful about giving out validation here but once in a great Rx lifespan you gotta give credit where credit is due.

I can't believe I've been on the Rx almost as long as you have and not noticed you. I gotta check out the political forum more.

I guess I can end my "man crush" on you right now by asking if you are conservative or liberal. And it's only because you seem to express alot of what I think sometimes.

I will write off any gushing compliments to Saturday night LATE HOUR...but I always say Thanks for nice comments because all of us can always use more.

PLEASE note that I do frequent the "Politics" forum here at the Rx, but I take it very very lightly for the most part.

I do enjoy dispensing good information about 1st and 4th Amendment law, public drug policies and drugs in general (I'm a recovering abuser....straight since 1995)

But as far as most "debate" within the RxPoliticoForum, I try real hard to keep it light. I'll cut up and try to make jokes 10x as often as I will try and 'debate'.

We're too small a group here (in that Politics forum) and the main reason most of us are here is to learn how to handicap and profitably invest on sports.

=====
Though it's almost cliche in recent years, I'm a fiscal conservative and a social liberal.

I believe government serves a lot of great functions while also acknowledging the many flaws associated with government-related programs and services.

I have a list of probably 50% of what government does that I think they shouldn't do.

But I bet most everybody has such a list....with maybe different items...heh

As of Mar 29, I will vote for Obama for POTUS in November if he is the Democrat nominee.

If Clinton gets the nod, the chances of my moving my vote to a write-in for Ron Paul jump to about 30-40%. But there are other factors that will ultimately decide that.

The Democratic National Convention should be a hoot to watch.

HEY RR denizens...Sorry for the Topic Swerve

My drug dealers all offer delivery.

But in most cases it's easier to just roll up and walk in for my purchase.

I am in the most densely populated county in Florida.

Within a 3 mile radius I have access to literally a couple hundred legal drug dealers (pharmacies, groceries, liqour stores, restaurants etc).

I also have safe access to a handful of illicit dealers and in the event I work with them, I prefer delivery. But if do make a pickup I have annoyingly methodical habits which have helped save me from ever being arrested on illicit drug charges in a bit over 30 years of involvement.

barman,
I would like to consider myself as a "Reagan conservative" only because I'm trying to hold on to an erea in that regard. But ever since, yeah as conservative as I can be.

Based on your response, I gotta hand around the politacal forum more.

Thanks man.
