No way Ohio St. Jumps ASU....

I still remember that UCLA-Arizona State game in their own building...That was a lot of points they gave up that night.

.....At least Ohio State was breaking in a new QB at the time after the entire offense was centered around Braxton before he got hurt........

As far as Oregon, they look good......Real good..........Don't know what happen in the Zona game, but it doesn't really matter at this point........Oregon abused two solid teams in back-to-back weeks, including the Road tonight.........The Ducks should be in.........

a lot of people will be rooting for Miami to beat F$U.....but the picture is crazy right now

Bama/MSU winner should make it....
Oregon/ASU winner
F$U should make it unless they lose
TCU if they win out which they should. Only @Texas is a mild test at this point but shouldnt threaten

needs help:
Baylor ....I'd give them a nod (bias!!!) over OhioSt as the Big10 is so so so so terrible this year, but that wont happen
OhioSt if they win out

It hurts the big 12 not having a championship game. No way they take 2 big 12 teams.
It doesn't look good for the Buckeyes to make the playoff. I think their only shot is for ducks and zone state to take another loss. Best case would be zone at get beat by zone, then ducks lose in championship game.

The PAC 12 looks really good after yesterday.

Big 10 football is just awful. Look at the Penn St and Michigan games, not to mention how horrible Iowa looked. While I think Ohio State is a good team, I hope they are nowhere near a playoff.

In a sense it does, but it helps the Big12 that all teams get to play one another instead of certain teams getting an easy pass by not having to play all the tough games like all the other conferences.

OSU beating MSU and Notre Dame losing certainly helps the buckeyes. Auburn loses helps a bit but they probably would have lost to Bama anyway.....

Baylor and TCU could make the final 4 but a LOT would have to happen along the way (OSU losing, FSU losing and both Pac12 teams having 2 losses). TCU, even though they lost to Baylor, has the inside track obviously but I think Baylor is a worthy team. A one loss Big12 team will get in over a 2 loss any other team, even Bama, even though the Tide is still the bestest team ever ever ever ever ever ever ever....and ESPN will tell you every hour on the hour.

agree. Big10 is God awful. MSU isnt a bad team by any means but OSU won that conference by default.

I still think the B1G and Big 12 need a lot of help. If the committee is truly going to massively weight the conference champions as they discussed earlier in the season, TCU is going to get screwed unless Baylor loses. I suspect the SEC champion, one loss Pac champion and undefeated FSU would be in with the last spot going to an 11-1 Mississippi St team, assuming their only loss is at Alabama and they can win at Mississippi.

Speaking of Mississippi, they may have benefited more than anyone. I assumed their chances were non-existent, but now if they win out and Bama beats Miss St and loses to Auburn, they win the West. Certainly a lot of "ifs", but they are in a much better position than they were last week.

Plenty of time left...

Buckeyes are kinda like the Sooners; a year; with a great recruiting year; away from serious Top 4 consideration; still; a two team loss Bammy will be hard to get in..>>jmho...some great games; amazing when top teams actually play each other..>>Presbyterian should not be playing Ole Miss or Miss st..just that simple.

No. Ohio St still plays in the Big10 and other than Indy beating Mizzou, they have absolutely no impressive Non Conference wins to hang their hats on. In fact the Va Tech win at Columbus will doom them. They only way they even get close to sniffing the playoffs is if conference champs have 2 losses. Even if the SEC implodes and they have several 2 loss teams including a conference champ, the CFP committee would take Baylor and TCU if they both won out and finished at 11-1. Baylor would have beaten TCU, WVA, OU and KState. TCU would have beaten Minny, OU, KState, and WVU. They'd have more impressive wins

Nebraska beat Miami. Miami not elite, but still a solid win. Ohio State will need an 11-1 Nebraska team to get in. Not to go all homer, but I might venture to say Nebraska has potential to have a better playoff resume. They get a top 25 Wisconsin team next week, their loss isn't a bad one (Michigan St on road). All that is if both teams get to 11-1. I'm glad no one is talking Nebraska. I'd rather they sneek up on the whole scenario. Right now, I don' think they are playing well enough, but the defense is starting to really get it's footing and special teams has become special again, all depends on the QB not making mistakes.

If the Nebraska defense is getting better it will be the first time in a long time. Everytime they face a team with a pulse they give up big #'s.
31 to Miami
27 to Sparty

guarantee you that Wisky puts up atleast 28+. There is no such thing as "Black Shirts" anymore. They are mediocre at best these days because their offense puts their defense in horrible situations due to turning the ball over too much

Wisky is so one dimensional on offense that I give Nebraska a punchers chance in that game. Being the offensive threat that they are, the Huskers would probably be the better opponent vs OSU in the Big 10 title game.

31 and 27 isnt a lot of points in todays game. And Miami scored a last minute td. It wasnt in jeopardy. 27 on the road to MSU? Their qb completed 37% of his passes, which is a trend. In 7 years Nebraska has allowed 50.7 completion percentage.. that includes 2008 Big 12 banner year. Year in and out they are good vs the pass and on 3rd down. Something they are doing right. But I'll concede that Pelini wss always set up to defend a passing league. That run heavy teams have been kryptonite, which makes Wisconsin a tough matchup. And I never mentioned the blackshirts, havent even used that word for a while.

Always nervous vs wisc. Last time they played it was the same one dimension and they hung 70. But that dline, was ravaged using a d-end inside. Against wisc beef, thats a bad formula. NU front 4 is pretty good this time around.... I mean two legit nflers and another with a shot....but 3 are underclassmen, so lets see that matchup....and wisc d has gotten its feet too

Wisky was much more balanced last year, where they passed for 200 ypg. This year it's just a measly 123 ypg. They were also +14 in TO margin last year and -3 this year. They are a very beatable team if you can stop or slow down their run game.

If a B10 team gets into the playoff it will be the biggest farce in the history of the sport!

Why not? Those teams don't have the luxury of playing NW, Michigan, Penn St, Iowa, ACC, etc
