When I saw the name "jjgold", I knew this thread must be old!
I didn't even know that some threads from 4 years are still not corrupted (I did read somewhere that many threads got messed up and lost during a database transfer in 2004, I think?).
But wow, even I feel sorry for Journeyman on this kind of bump. I realize he hasn't apparently answered that stuff about paying moderators from years ago... in any case, it's just that nobody doesn't need any poster to bump something from 4 years ago. Not only that, this thread doesn't seem to help somebody gain understanding of anything, IMO.
Note: I do realize that anything said in a public forum from years ago can always haunt us but we all make mistakes & I just don't think bringing up our bad posts benefits anyone except the bumper. It makes the bumper looks like "hey, I saw this and wondered what you have to say about it..." and people may feel that it was a valid bump while others think, "oh sheesh, let it go..."
Personally, if someone ask me a question about my character, I rather to directly answer the question so the issue dies right away when I answer directly.

Calvin, let me ask you a simple question.
I'm not taking sides because I dont know/care about the poster that bumped nor the bumpee (if thats a word) but ask yourself this: If the question had any merit, would it only had 4 posts in the thread if it had any shred of truth?
You know how this place can become a lynch mob when someone makes a mistake in the forum tracker, so you can be sure that this thread would have been Double platinum status (before bumpage).
EJ, come on dude if you have a beef with him, just email him and squash this.

This is hilarious... JJGold asks me a question as a joke, four years ago, and now I'm expected to answer a question as if I committed a felony or a murder or something...you have any idea how many JJ Gold topics had absolutely zero meaning behind them? And I have to answer the thread?

Right, my 2nd part of that post should have been posted to the other thread, really. I knew that based on limited information, that there apparently was NO merit and I can understand why Journeyman feels exasperated at fucnluc for that original bump (and now EJ doing this bump).
I would be in Journeyman's shoes. I guess I'm only saying that he could have squashed the bump by saying something relevant to the subject at hand... than going into a defensive mode and go off on the person who bumped that info. As you can imagine, other posters can mistakenly take that as hiding something when there's nothing to hide.
I expressed my interest, yep. I haven't seen any updates on that? I'm down for Champps this Friday, May 11th, right? Which Champps?

Just saw your post. I feel for you, man. I am not surprised that 4 years from now, somebody is gonna find a post of mine where they would take wrong context out of my post and use it against me.... and who knows, I might be a mod here (certainly don't mind becoming one someday) & those posts of mine where I said something wrong would be material that future posters would salivate over, sheesh.

Some posters felt like you never directly answered the questions. I guarantee you things would be cleared up if you just said, "Yea I was doing this at the time" but all we receive is how much mental anguish this causes you.You don't have to come out with it, but why are these scammers accusing you of this stuff when you really didn't do it. It's not that hard to just say it in a few sentences.
