BB, this is a touchy subject for me. My sister and I are the only ones in my huge family that has ever gone to college (much less finished high school). I am not saying that the rest of my family or other uneducated blacks are not smart enough to make good decisions etc......but I think you have a little something here.
My sister has an MBA from Georgetown University and I have a job in the business world as well. The only other blacks that I have met that are Repubs or will at least be open to vote Repub, are the educated ones.
I am not saying that is the case across the board, but just trying to give some insight from my personal experiences. I grew up knowing that all of my family and every other family I knew was going to support the Democratic party. I always thought that was the right thing, until I started to use my brain and make decisions on my own.
I have no problem with any blacks voting for whatever side they believe in. The problem that I have is that a very, very small percentage actually know what the candidate they are voting for stands for. The big reason why we all vote Dem is because we have prolific asses that make themselves well known to all and they tell us we should vote Dem (Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton etc).
Just thought I'd share my experience around this.......
