Good article and you are right about the knowledge of these women. When ESPN first hired women, they had to have great expertise about sports. Some have hung around like Linda Cohen, Lisa Salter, Hannah Storm and a few others including Galye Gardner.
Today...personality and looks trump expertise and we end up with empty-headed bimbos competing for airtime and being memorable. That's what makes ESPN unwatchable including not one female play by play or color person who is tolerable.
