No DirecTV available, but bought the Field Pass at nfl.com to be able to watch all NFL games live

Was looking at getting this as well, but was wondering what the feed delay would be (if any) from the usual cable or satellite feed ?

Would only get it so that I could bet more games in-play, but if the delay is 10 seconds or more than it wouldn't be worth it...

I get Directv for the MLB package.

The 8 games on one screen is the nuts.

If you bet baseball this is a must.

I didn't realize it at the time but all the trouble I have been having with my digital cable was well worth it. I cancelled that and have DirecTV coming tomorrow to set me up with them.

It just so happens that I signed up with them at this time because I get 5 months of NFL Sunday Ticket free for 5 months... which is this entire season. Looking forward to it.

Also purchased the extra sports pack with a good bit of extra sports channels...hopefully will have some extra college games as well. Can anyone who has the extra sports package tell me if you get extra college football games?

What was wrong with cable?

Boy, I've heard so many pros and cons about all three........cable, directTV, and FIos.

I'm holding off on Fios and DirectTV because of the contracts and customer service issues........the only thing I can see DirectTV offering me at this time is the NFL TICKET and a few extra HD channels.

Fios customer service nightmares.

Sticking with cable for now but will hopefully have TWO setups in the near future.

If the NFL would get it right I'd be more inclined to pay the extortion money.

But every fucking game goes off at the same time.

Every game goes to halftime at the same time.

Your flipping around or watching the squares and in the end I feel like I just jacked off.

The only game I really enjoy is the Sunday night game as is the only game on.

NCAA Saturday now that is how it's done,a game going off every half hour............Like a pig wallowing in shit.

I'm getting Direct TV for sure this season. But what's the package from NFL.com? I can hook up my Samsung 46" HD to the PC. Would that cost less than Direct TV?

Yep. Have NFL superfan, NBA league pass, MLB extra innings, and NCAAFB/NCAABB packages. Worth every penny imo. Beats going to a sports bar and paying $3/beer to watch the games on their medium-sized televisions.

You can't get everything on cable. I cannot get Comcast Chicago even though I live an hour from the Illinois state line. I have Comcast basic cable for the internet only, and I have Directv.
